West Bengal government is accepting WB Khadya Sathi Scheme 2026 online application forms at food.wb.gov.in. People can apply for digital ration card related services online or through Duare Sarkar camps. The state government launched Khadya Sathi Scheme on 27 January 2016. Under this scheme, about 7 crore people, almost 90% of the state's population, get rice and wheat at Rs 2 per kg. Around 50 lakh more get the same at half the market price.

For the last few years, the state government has been digitising ration cards. The digital ration cards replace the older ones. To bring these services to people's doorsteps, the government runs the "Duare Sarkar" campaign. It covers corrections and updation in existing digital ration cards under Khadya Sathi.

There is a big update for 2026. The new government under Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has started a drive to clean up the beneficiary list. Ration cards of people whose names were removed from the voter list during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) will be cancelled after physical verification. The deadline to finish this process is 15 June 2026. People who applied under CAA or filed an appeal before a Tribunal will keep their cards active until a final decision.

Application for adding left out family members of a family already having Digital Ration Card (DRC) [Form 4]

Form 4 is used when a few members of a family do not have a digital ration card. Fill the form properly and submit it with supporting documents. For getting the name of a left out family member notified, use Form IV-R or Form IV-U. Keep these documents ready: photocopy of the digital ration card of the head of the family or any member who has one, photocopy of the applicant's Aadhaar card if aged above 5 years (birth certificate for those below 5), photocopy of the applicant's voter card (EPIC), and a valid mobile number of the applicant or a family member.

Application for correcting any information present in the Digital Ration Card [Form 5]

If any correction is required in the existing digital ration card, such as spelling of name, address or date of birth, application in Form 5 can be submitted. Fill the form properly and submit it with supporting documents. For getting a name or address corrected, use Form V-R or Form V-U. Keep these documents ready: photocopy of the current digital ration card, documents like photocopy of voter card (EPIC), Kisan Credit Card, bank passbook, driving license or passport in support of the required corrections, photocopy of the Aadhaar of all family members, and a valid mobile number.

Application for change of ration shop / Fair Price Shop [Form 6]

For change of fair price shop (dealer) or S.K. Oil shop (K.Oil dealer), application in Form 6 can be submitted. Fill the form properly and submit it with supporting documents. For getting changed to a new ration shop, use Form VI-R or Form VI-U. Keep these documents ready: photocopy of the current digital ration card of the applicant and head of the family, photocopy of the Aadhaar card of the applicant, photocopy of the Aadhaar of all other family members, and photocopy of the marriage certificate if available in case of shifting due to marriage.

Application for surrender of Digital Ration Card due to death or any other reason [Form 7]

For surrender of a digital ration card due to death or any other reason, application in Form 7 can be submitted. Fill the form properly and submit it with supporting documents. Keep these documents ready: original digital ration card, photocopy of the Aadhaar of all family members, and photocopy of the death certificate or cremation certificate in case of surrender due to death.

Application for duplicate Digital Ration Card [Form 9]

To get a duplicate digital ration card due to loss or damage, application in Form 9 can be submitted. Fill the form properly and submit it with supporting documents. Keep these documents ready: photocopy of the digital ration card that was lost or damaged, and the GD number if available in case of loss or theft.

Application for General Category Card (Non Subsidized Digital Ration Card) [Form 10]

For a new general category digital ration card (non subsidized), application in Form 10 can be submitted. Fill the form properly and submit it with supporting documents. Keep these documents ready: photocopy of the ration card if available, photocopy of the Aadhaar card of all members above 5 years, and photocopy of the birth certificate of members below 5 years.

Application to link AADHAAR and mobile number with the Digital Ration Card [Form 11]

For seeding mobile number and Aadhaar number with the digital ration card, application in Form 11 can be submitted. Fill the form properly and submit it with supporting documents. Keep these documents ready: photocopy of the digital ration card and photocopy of the Aadhaar card.

WB Khadya Sathi Scheme Form 3 and Form 8

If the age of the applicant or a family member is less than 5 years, then the Aadhaar card is not required. In that case, a photocopy of the birth certificate has to be submitted. All the above mentioned services are also available online and in the office of the Inspector (Food and Supplies) and Bangla Sahayata Kendra (BSK). If none in the family has a digital ration card, application in Form 3 can be submitted online and in the office of the Inspector (Food and Supplies). For getting a name notified for a ration card, use Form III-R or Form III-U.

For conversion of category from RKSY-II to RKSY-I or from general category to RKSY-I, application in Form 8 can be submitted online and in the office of the Inspector (Food and Supplies). Families who do not have any digital ration card may apply online in Form 3 or submit the application in the office of the area inspector (Food and Supplies). Similarly, for conversion of categories of DRC, the beneficiary may apply online in Form 8 or submit the application in the office of the area inspector (Food and Supplies).
