Haryana Free Tablet Scheme 2024 | e-Adhigam Yojana for 8th to 12th Class Students in Govt. Schools

Haryana Free Tablet Scheme 2024 is going to be launched for govt. school students by the state government. In this Haryana e-Adhigam Yojana, the state govt. will provide free of cost tabs to around 9.87 lakh class 8th to 12th students in govt. schools. The android based tablets would be distributed on the lines of library scheme under which they will be the property of Haryana government. Android tablets are going to assist students in their online education in schools through e-learning. In the first phase, 5 lakh tablets are to be distributed to class 10th/12th board students in govt schools.

Haryana Free Tablet Yojana Latest Update

Haryana government on Thursday launched its ambitious e-Adhigam Scheme under which nearly three lakh tablets were distributed to government school students of Classes 10 and 12 on 5th May 2022. These devices come with pre-loaded content along with personalised and adaptive learning software and 2GB free data. The government intends to provide the gadget to five lakh students from Classes 10-12. However, it said Class 11 students will get them after they clear the Class 10 board exams and qualify for the succeeding year.

Haryana will take forward Sh. Narendra Modi’s “Digital India” campaign under the visionary leadership of CM Manohar Lal Khattar. Haryana government is going to provide tablets and free data to 5 lakh students studying in government schools. This ambitious scheme has been named as e-Adhigam (Advance Digital Haryana Initiative of Government with Adaptive Modules).

Launch of Tablet Distribution Scheme in Haryana

The tablet distribution function held on May 5, 2022 at the Tagore Auditorium of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak by the Chief Minister. During this, these tablets were given to the students of government schools of Rohtak city. This tablet distribution function also started on this day in 119 blocks of the state. In other districts, ministers, MPs, MLAs, other guests, along with the Deputy Commissioner and district administration distributed tablets on the same day.

Objectives of Haryana Free Tablet Yojana

The Chief Minister said that tablets and data are tools for the students which will help them to acquire the skills of 21st century and open new opportunities at national and international level. Through e-Adhigam scheme, a student of Haryana can also become a global student. CM said that during Covid, the parents did not have any resource to get the child online. Today the government is going to fill this gap through e-Learning. This ambitious scheme will prove to be an effective step towards online education for most of the students studying in government schools, especially those students who are unable to buy devices like smartphones and tablets.

Haryana Free Tablet Scheme 2024 Details

Under Haryana Free Tablet Scheme 2024, the state govt. will provide tablet, 2GB free data and PAL (Personalized Adaptive Learning) platform to all the students studying in Class X to XII in government schools. 5 lakh tablets have been purchased for the students of Class 10th and 12th (board classes). After the result of Class 10 Boards, separate tablets will be purchased for more than 2.30 lakh students in June 2022. All 33,000 PGTs teaching these classes will also be given a free tablet. For other lower classes (VIII to IX) tablets will be arranged in a phased manner.

The state govt. of Haryana aims to provide free android tablets to students of government schools. Haryana government plans to provide tablet devices to students of classes 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of government schools belonging to all categories. Free Android Tablets to be Property of Government

In the Haryana Free Tablet Scheme 2024, the tablet devices would be distributed on the lines of library scheme. This means that all the android tablets will remain the property of the state government. The device will be issued to the govt. school students for online education and they will have to return it after passing Class 12.

हरियाणा सरकार ने सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ रहे कक्षा आठवीं से बाहरवीं के सभी वर्गों जैसे सामान्य श्रेणी, अनुसूचित जाति व पिछड़े वर्ग के साथ अल्पसंख्यक वर्गों के छात्र एवं छात्राओं को डिजिटल एजुकेशन की सुविधा देने हेतु नि:शुल्क टैबलेट देने की योजना बनाई है। इस योजना के अंतर्गत बाहरवीं पास करने पर विद्यार्थियों को यह टैबलेट स्कूल को वापिस लौटाना होगा। इसमें प्री-लोडेड कंटेंट के तौर पर डिजिटल पुस्तकों के साथ-साथ विभिन्न प्रकार के टेस्ट, वीडियो और अन्य सामग्री भी रहेगी, जो सरकारी स्कूलों के पाठ्यक्रमों के अनुसार तथा कक्षावार होगी।

स्टूडेंट्स को मिलेगा फ्री टैबलेट

ऑनलाइन क्लास के जरिए शिक्षक छात्र-छात्राओं को पढ़ा रहे हैं. लेकिन बहुत सारे अभिभावक अपने बच्चों की ऑनलाइन क्लास के लिए टैबलेट, लैपटॉप या स्मार्टफोन नहीं खरीद सकते हैं. इस समस्या को देखते हुए हरियाणा की बीजेपी सरकार ने कक्षा 8 से 12 तक के सभी छात्र-छात्राओं को फ्री में टैबलेट देने का फैसला किया है. जिससे ऑनलाइन एजुकेशन में बाधा ना आए.

टैबलेट में होगा प्री-लोडेट कंटेट स्टडी मैटेरियल

हरियाणा के सीएमओ ने अगले ट्वीट में लिखा कि इस योजना के अंतर्गत बाहरवीं पास करने पर विद्यार्थियों को यह टैबलेट स्कूल को वापिस लौटाना होगा. इसमें प्री-लोडेड कंटेंट के तौर पर डिजिटल पुस्तकों के साथ-साथ विभिन्न प्रकार के टेस्ट, वीडियो और अन्य सामग्री भी रहेगी, जो सरकारी स्कूलों के पाठ्यक्रमों के अनुसार व कक्षावार होगी.

गौरतलब है कि कोरोना वायरस (Coronavirus) के प्रकोप को देखते हुए अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है कि साल 2022-23 के नए शैक्षिक सत्र में भी ऑनलाइन पढ़ाई करवाई जा सकती है. ऑनलाइन एजुकेशन (Online Education) के लिए सभी छात्र-छात्राओं के पास टैबलेट, लैपटॉप, स्मार्टफोन और इंटरनेट कनेक्शन होना जरूरी है. लेकिन आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर अभिभावक ये सारी सुविधाएं अपने बच्चों को उपलब्ध करवाने में सक्षम नहीं हैं.

ऐसे में अब हरियाणा सरकार के छात्र-छात्राओं को मुफ्त में टैबलेट (Haryana Free Tablet Scheme for Students) देने के फैसले से ऑनलाइन एजुकेशन (Online Education) में बाधा नहीं आएगी. आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों के स्टूडेंट भी अब हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा दिए जा रहे फ्री टैबलेट (Free Tablets) के माध्यम से अपनी ऑनलाइन क्लास जारी रख सकेंगे.
