  • She must be a permanent resident of Haryana. If she married into Haryana from another state, her husband must have lived in Haryana for 15 years or more.
  • Family's yearly income should be less than ₹1.80 lakh, as per the Family Information Database Repository (FIDR). This limit was ₹1 lakh earlier and was raised in September 2026.
  • Widowed, divorced and unmarried women can also apply for this scheme. There is no bar on marital status.
  • She should not be getting any other government pension or monthly allowance. Women getting help for stage III and IV cancer, rare diseases, haemophilia, thalassemia and sickle cell anemia can take this benefit along with their existing support.
  • More than one woman from the same family can apply. No limit has been set on the number of eligible women from a single family.

In September 2026, Haryana government raised the yearly family income limit for Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana from ₹1 lakh to ₹1.80 lakh. About 17 lakh new women will come under the scheme because of this change. Registration is set to reopen for these newly eligible women, and enrolling in this scheme will not affect their other state scheme benefits.

Government has also added a few new categories linked to children's education and health. Mothers of children who study in government schools and score more than 80% marks in Class 10 or Class 12 board exams are covered. So are mothers whose children meet grade-level learning standards under NIPUN Bharat Mission in Classes 1 to 4, and mothers who help their children recover from moderate or severe acute malnutrition as verified by the Women and Child Development Department. How to Apply for Lado Lakshmi Yojana

Application process for this scheme is fully online. No offline form has been released by the government. Women have to apply through the Lado Lakshmi App only.

STEP 1 - Download the Lado Lakshmi App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The app has been developed by HARTRON for registration, verification and status check.

STEP 2 - Open the app and register with your mobile number. Use the number that is linked with your Aadhaar.

STEP 3 - Before applying, use the Check Eligibility option in the app to see whether you qualify for the scheme.

STEP 4 - After the eligibility check, tap on the Apply for Scheme option and fill the form. You have to enter Aadhaar details, Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) details, income information, residence details and bank account details.

STEP 5 - Upload all required documents in the app and submit the form. The concerned department then checks the details shared by you.

STEP 6 - Once verification is complete, you get an SMS about your application status. Approved women get the money directly in their bank account through DBT.

STEP 7 - After the first payment, complete a face authentication check every month in the app. This liveness check makes sure that only the real applicant keeps getting the money.

Women who face any problem while applying on the app can take help from their nearest CSC center or Saral Kendra, or visit the local Women and Child Development office. Even at these places, the application is filled online only.

Who Cannot Apply

Some women fall outside the scheme even if their age is between 23 and 60 years. These women cannot apply for Lado Lakshmi Yojana.

  • Women who already get a government pension like widow pension, old age allowance or disability allowance, or any other monthly government support.
  • Women from Haryana BPL list families or other families whose verified yearly income is above ₹1.80 lakh.
  • Women who are not permanent residents of Haryana, or whose husband has not lived in the state for 15 years in case of marriage from another state.
  • Women who do not have a bank account in their own name, since the payment is sent through DBT.
  • Women from families where a member is in a government job or pays income tax, as such families are treated as financially stable.
