Delhi Self Employment Loan Scheme Application Form
People who want to apply for a vehicle loan under this scheme need to follow a set process at DSFDC office. Steps below explain how to fill and submit the application form.
STEP 1 - Visit DSFDC head office at Ambedkar Bhawan, Sector 16, Rohini, or any of its branch offices, and collect the application form. Or download the form and proforma affidavit from official website dsfdc.delhi.gov.in under Loan Schemes and Application Forms section.
STEP 2 - Fill the form completely and sign it. Attach five passport size photos, copy of Voter ID card, Ration card and Aadhaar card, age proof, and copy of valid commercial driving licence and badge (LMV).
STEP 3 - Get income certificate from area SDM (needed for SC, OBC and Minority category) and caste certificate for SC/OBC applicants, or an affidavit for Minority category. Attach vehicle quotation and a demand draft of ₹350 in favour of DSFDC towards processing fee.
STEP 4 - Submit the complete form with all documents at branch office. Once loan gets approved, complete post sanction formalities like submitting guarantor documents, postdated cheques and insurance copies of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana before loan amount is released.
Loan Amount and Repayment
DSFDC gives term loan of up to ₹5 lakh under this scheme for light motor vehicles, including battery operated e-rickshaws. Loan has to be repaid in 60 monthly instalments spread over five years, and applicants get a moratorium period of six months before first instalment is due.

- Applicant age should be between 18 to 45 years at the time of applying for the loan.
- Applicant must be permanent resident of Delhi and hold Ration card or Voter ID card. Aadhaar card is compulsory for everyone.
- Applicant should hold a valid commercial driving licence and badge (LMV) in their own name.
- Annual family income from all sources should not cross ₹1.20 lakh for SC, OBC and Minority category applicants. For creamy layer of Minority category, income limit goes up to ₹6 lakh per year. Safai Karamchari category has no income limit.
- Applicant should not already be a defaulter under any DSFDC scheme, nationalised bank, financial institution or co-operative bank loan.
