Odisha Ayushman Card Launch
Odisha government partnered with the National Health Authority (NHA) to roll out Ayushman Bharat in the state, merging its own Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana with PM-JAY. With this, Odisha became the 34th state to implement AB PM-JAY. The scheme connects around 1.3 crore families, almost 3.52 crore people of Odisha, and about 23 lakh elderly people in the state also benefit under the Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana for seniors aged 70 and above.
Odisha Ayushman Card gives free healthcare to eligible families by covering treatment costs up to ₹5 lakh, and up to ₹10 lakh for women members. Beneficiaries get cashless care at empanelled hospitals just by showing their card.
