Around 23 lakh elderly people aged 70 and above in the state benefit under the Vay Vandana expansion, regardless of income.
Treatment is cashless at empanelled government and private hospitals across Odisha, and the card also works at hospitals in other states under the PM-JAY network. This gives families pan-India portability, which helps people who travel or work outside the state.

Application Process
