After approval, an expert committee will inspect the school. Once approved, the school must sign an undertaking on a ₹200 stamp paper within two weeks. KSCSTE then releases a refurbishing grant of ₹2,00,000 for basic infrastructure work like flooring, painting, and plumbing. The school informs KSCSTE once the space is ready, after which the process of supplying laboratory equipment begins through an open tender. The whole project should be finished within one year.
