Tiatr Research Scholarship Program - Introduction

Research work must focus on various aspects of Tiatr, its song, and music. All work should be written in English or Konkani (Roman script only). Beyond financial rewards, TAG recognizes your efforts by publishing approved research as a book. You will receive 100 copies of your published work, helping you share your findings with the community. Your research report must carry the signature of your guide or the head of your institution to be considered for this benefit.

Students who have already received a scholarship under the Graduate category can also apply again for a higher category, such as Post-Graduation or PhD. Preference is given to applicants who already have experience in the field of Tiatr. Selection is done by a committee of evaluators and experts appointed by TAG when many applications come in.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scheme, you should meet the following criteria:

• You must be a bonafide student actively pursuing research or a project related to Tiatr.
• Your research documentation must be in English or Konkani (Roman script only).
• You should have achieved at least 50% marks in your most recent academic examination. For example, if a student is in the final year of graduation, the second-year marksheet showing at least 50% must be presented.
• You must provide a research report that is officially signed by your project guide or the head of your college or university.
