Bhagwan Birsa Munda Lakshya Siddhi Yojana - Introduction
Bhagwan Birsa Munda Lakshya Siddhi Yojana is a scheme launched by the Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Goa. The scheme helps talented tribal students by providing money help for coaching fees needed for competitive entrance exams. By offering this support, the government encourages students to prepare for NEET and JEE at reputed offline coaching centers, reducing the gap for those who wish to pursue professional undergraduate degrees in or outside Goa.
The scheme is a state-level initiative for individual beneficiaries. It covers coaching fees for NEET and JEE preparation through offline coaching programs only. The payment is made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the student's bank account in two equal installments over two years.

|---|---|---|
| Up to ₹8,00,000 per annum | 100% of coaching fees | ₹3,00,000 |
| Above ₹8,00,000 per annum | 75% of coaching fees | ₹3,00,000 |
Important Disbursement Details:
You will receive these benefits over a duration of two years. The funds reach your bank account directly through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system in two equal installments. For example, if Ramesh, a student from Goa, enrolls in a JEE course, he receives his first installment during class XI and the second after submitting his class XI passing marksheet in class XII.
Note on Coaching Fees: If the total fee exceeds the admissible amount covered by the scheme, you should arrange for the remaining balance yourself. Always maintain at least 90% attendance in your coaching classes, as failing to do so or leaving the course midway may lead to legal recovery of the disbursed funds.
Eligibility
