Namo Shetkari Yojana beneficiary status can be checked free at nsmny.mahait.org, and about 90 lakh farmers in Maharashtra are using it right now to track the pending 9th installment. Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi gives farmers ₹6,000 every year, sent in three parts of ₹2,000 each straight to the Aadhaar linked bank account. Status page shows every payment made so far, so you can see exactly which installment reached you and which one did not.
Last payment under this scheme went out in the last week of March 2026. That was the 8th installment, worth ₹1,774 crore, and it reached 89 lakh 75 thousand farmers. Money for the 9th installment has not been released yet, so most farmers checking today will see the 8th installment as the latest entry on their status page.

Namo Shetkari Yojana 9th Installment Status Update
Maharashtra government has not announced a date for the 9th installment. This round covers December 2025 to March 2026 and was supposed to come along with PM Kisan 23rd installment, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi released on 20 June 2026 from Tarakeshwar in Hooghly district of West Bengal. State share did not follow that payment.
Marathi news reports pointed to 15 August and Raksha Bandhan as possible dates, but neither brought a credit. Some reports say the state may pay two rounds together as ₹4,000. Nothing is confirmed, so the status page is the only reliable place to check. Money always moves within a week or two after the state issues a shasan nirnay, the order that releases the fund.

What to Do When Status Shows Pending or Rejected
Status page does not just say yes or no, it gives a reason line. Read that line first, because it decides whether the fix is a bank job, a land record job, or an eKYC job. These are the common reasons farmers see:
- eKYC not done: Payment stops here even if everything else is correct. Finish it on pmkisan.gov.in with OTP or face authentication, or at a CSC centre.
- Aadhaar not seeded with the bank account: Having Aadhaar linked to the bank is not enough, the account must be NPCI mapped and DBT enabled. This one cannot be fixed online, you have to visit the bank branch.
- Land record not verified: Happens when the 7/12 entry does not match the PM Kisan record, often after a name change or land transfer. Talathi or tehsil office handles this.
- Name not in PM Kisan list: Namo Shetkari runs on the PM Kisan database, so a farmer who is out of the central list gets nothing from the state either.
- Account closed or wrong IFSC: Money bounces back and the status shows failed. Update the account details through the PM Kisan portal or the agriculture office.
Once the reason is clear, take a written application to the PM Kisan and Namo Shetkari desk at your tehsil office along with your Aadhaar, 7/12 extract and bank passbook copy. Cleared cases usually get the pending amount with the next payment cycle, so old dues are not lost.
FAQ's
Status shows paid but money is not in the account, what now?
Cross check on the PFMS portal at pfms.nic.in using your bank account number, since that shows the actual transaction and the account it went to. In most such cases the money has gone to an older account that is still seeded with Aadhaar rather than the one you use daily.
Can status be checked without a registration number?
Yes. Use the Aadhaar linked mobile number on the same page, or click "Know Your Registration No." to pull the number out with your mobile number. Registration number is also visible on the PM Kisan portal under your farmer details.
Why does PM Kisan status show paid but Namo Shetkari does not?
These are two separate payments from two governments. Central ₹2,000 comes from PM Kisan, state ₹2,000 comes from Maharashtra. Since the 7th installment the state has been releasing its share weeks or months after the central one, so one showing paid without the other is normal.
Does the portal work on a mobile phone?
Yes, nsmny.mahait.org opens on any phone browser and the status page is built for small screens. There is no separate app for Namo Shetkari Yojana, so avoid any app claiming to be the official one.
Help and Contact
