Himachal Pradesh govt. is inviting HP Beti Hai Anmol Yojana 2024 application form through online as well as offline mode. This scholarship scheme has been launched after taking inspiration from the central govt’s Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan to encourage women education.
In this Beti Hai Anmol Yojana 2024, govt. provides scholarship of Rs. 300 to Rs. 1200 to girl students who have passed 12th class and wants to study further. By providing financial assistance to girls in the form of scholarship, HP govt. wants to encourage them to pursue higher education. If your family comes in Below Poverty Line (BPL) category, then 2 girls of your family can take benefits of this scheme.
All the girl students who have completed their 12th standard and are pursuing B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, Engineering, Medical, Law courses can get this scholarship.

All the girl children who are born after 10 July 2010 can avail benefits of scheme till they study in class 12th. BPL family girls have no restriction on age for availing the benefits of the scheme.
Amount of Beti Hai Anmol Yojana Scholarship
The state govt. of Himachal Pradesh provides Rs. 5,000 to girls studying in undergraduate level or other equivalent courses and are belonging to BPL category.
What is Beti Hai Anmol Yojana
Beti Hai Anmol Yojana is for those girl candidates belonging to the below poverty line category. 2 girl children of a single family can take scheme benefits. The state govt. deposits the Rs. 10,000 scholarship amount in Post Office / Bank account of girl child when they are born. Girls studying upto 12th standard are also given assistance of Rs. 300 to Rs. 1200 for purchase of books and dresses. BPL category Girls studying at undergraduate level or other equivalent courses are given Rs. 5,000 per annum.
The main purpose of the Scheme to encourage education of the girl child for BPL families, and this scheme would provide assistance up to 2 girl child of the BPL family. This scheme aims to make the girl self- reliant with necessary financial assistance and education. Assistance would be given at the time of the birth of the girl child and then an annual scholarship would be given to the girl child.

Progress Report of Beti Hai Anmol Yojna in Himachal Pradesh
This scheme is for girls of BPL families up to two girl children. After their birth, the department deposits rupees 10,000 per girl child in the post office/ Bank account. These girls get scholarship ranging from Rs. 300 to Rs.1200 from first to 12th Class for their books/dresses etc.
Upto 2 girls born in a BPL category family are given scholarship of Rs. 12,000 to pursue higher education. From 2018 to August 2020, govt. has spent Rs. 32.81 crore on around 98,193 beneficiaries.
