PM Kisan FPO Yojana online registration form 2026 is available at the official website https://enam.gov.in/web/. Central government launched the Formation and Promotion of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) Scheme 2026 to help small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, the government set a target of forming 10,000 FPOs in five years from 2020-21 to 2023-24. All 10,000 FPOs have now been formed, and the scheme is being extended for another five years from 2026-31.

Farmer Producer Organizations give small farmers a common platform. This helps them tackle shared problems like buying farm inputs and selling their produce at better prices. As of 1 January 2026, more than 56.32 lakh farmers have joined the scheme, and out of these, 21.96 lakh are women farmers. Around 1,175 FPOs are registered with 100% women members.

Farmers and Farmer Producer Organizations can apply online for PM Kisan FPO Yojana at the official eNAM portal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the country-wide launch of Farmer Producer Organizations in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh on 29 February 2020. These FPO cooperative platforms turn farmers into business owners, as 86% of farmers in India are small and marginal with less than 1.1 hectare of landholding. FPOs work to raise farmers income and help them realize the vision of doubling farmers income. Earlier, farmers were only producers of crops. Now through PM Modi FPO scheme, they can negotiate prices of their produce with traders and do business directly.

How can FPOs Apply Online at enam Portal

FPOs/FPCs can register on the e-NAM portal through the website (www.enam.gov.in) or the mobile app, or by providing the following details at the nearest eNAM mandi:

• Name of FPOs/FPCs
• Name, address, email id and contact number of the authorized person (MD/CEO/Manager)
• Bank account details (name of bank, branch, account number, IFSC code)

What is an FPO

The concept behind Farmer Producer Organizations is that farmers, who are the producers of agricultural products, can form groups. To help this process, the Small Farmers' Agribusiness Consortium (SFAC) was given the task by the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, to support the state governments in the formation of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).

What is the Role of FPOs

The role of an FPO is to act as an aggregator for member farmers, from inputs to output, which improves the economy of scale and bargaining power of member farmers. In case of unsold lots, logistics arrangements are to be made by the FPO/FPC.

FPOs will change farmer's lives and enable farmers to create wonders through FPOs in their state. PM Modi had earlier started various schemes like raising the minimum support price (MSP) of crops, soil health card scheme, neem coating of urea, and completion of pending irrigation projects for the welfare of farmers. The central government has worked at every level for the betterment of farmers' lives and to raise their income.

Benefits of PM Kisan FPO Yojana

FPOs/FPCs can act as an aggregator for their members and sell through e-trading as one or multiple lots depending on the requirement. Here are the important benefits of PM Kisan FPO Yojana:

• Payment is made directly to the FPO/FPC bank account. In turn, the FPO/FPC can distribute it among members.
• The Union budget 2017-18 made a provision to install collection, sorting, grading and packing facilities at their premises.
• Provision for a personalized dashboard and real time information on arrival, quality and price of commodities.
• FPOs give collective bargaining power to farmers and help them get a fair price for their produce.
• These FPOs are spread to block levels, especially in tribal regions and 100 aspirational districts.

How Payment Would be Made in PM Kisan FPO Yojana

Here is how the payment would be made in PM Kisan Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) Yojana 2026:

1. The entire payment will be credited to one bank account of the FPO/FPC.
2. After the payment is credited, the FPO/FPC has to disburse the amount to individual member farmers.
3. FPOs/FPCs will be given access to the e-NAM Dashboard to see MIS and reports related to the trade done by FPOs/FPCs.

The central government is making efforts to make sure that farmers' capital cost comes down, productivity goes up and farmers get a fair price for their produce. The government also makes efforts to bring agricultural markets closer to farming fields. In the next few years, grameen haat (village markets) will become new centers of the agriculture economy.

Schemes of Central Govt. of India to Benefit Farmers

To benefit farmers, PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Yojana was also launched in 2019. In PM-KISAN, around 8.5 crore farmer families have already received Rs. 90,000 crore directly in their bank accounts. In UP itself, more than Rs. 18,000 crore has been deposited in the bank accounts of over 2 crore farmer families.

PM-KISAN beneficiaries are now linked to PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and the PM Suraksha Bima Yojana. Moreover, the government has also started a Saturation Campaign to link PM Kisan beneficiaries with the Kisan Credit Card. The PM also said that a 16 point program was announced in the Union Budget 2020-21 to raise farmers' income.
