Uttar Pradesh government Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana 2026 provides monthly financial support to orphans and children of labourers so they can continue their studies instead of working as child labourers. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the scheme on 12 June 2020 on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour. In 2026, the state government directed the expansion of the scheme to all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh so that more children can get its benefit. Earlier the scheme was running in only 20 districts.

STEP 4 - The monthly assistance is sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
