The form is used to apply for construction of toilets under Shauchalaya Yojana of the flagship Swachh Bharat Mission Urban (SBM-U). Swachh Bharat Mission Urban 2.0 is the second phase of the mission, launched on 1 October 2021 for a period of five years, which runs till October 2026. Under this phase, urban local bodies give central support of ₹4,000 per individual household toilet to eligible families. Sochalay Yojana for Construction of Toilets
PM Modi led central government has launched Shauchalaya Yojana for construction of toilets in urban areas under Swachh Bharat Mission Urban (SBM-U). To get support for construction of toilets, applicants are required to fill Sochalay Yojana Application Form 2026. Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) application format download link is present at the official website of SBM Urban. Applicant can download sauchalay form PDF and can submit it to the respective state government officials to get support for making toilets.
State governments of India like Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, UP etc are actively taking part in this mission and are inviting शौचालय निर्माण फॉर्म. The main aim of Shauchalay Yojana is to make every state Open Defecation Free (ODF or ODF+).

Before filling the IHHL application, keep the following documents and details ready. These are the basic requirements to apply for toilet construction support under the scheme.
- Scanned copy of Applicant's Photograph (Required).
- Bank Account Details (Required).
- Scanned copy of First Page of Bank Passbook showing Account Details (Required).
- If Applicant does not have Aadhaar No. then copy of Aadhaar Enrollment Slip is required.
