SUPER 30 Scheme is a state-level education scheme by the Government of Tripura that gives free JEE and NEET coaching to meritorious students from the SC, ST and PH categories. The Directorate of Secondary Education runs this scheme every year for students appearing in the Class 10 board final exam, with coaching and accommodation support so they can study science in a nationally reputed institution outside the state.

For the 2026 cycle, the scheme offered 30 seats, with one seat reserved for a Divyang (specially abled) student. Registration for the 2026 selection test closed on 31 March 2026, and the joint selection test was scheduled for the first week of April 2026. The scheme continues to be a key support for students who want to crack entrance exams like JEE and NEET.

Super 30 Scheme - Introduction

SUPER 30 Scheme is a dedicated effort by the Directorate of Secondary Education, Tripura, to help young students prepare for competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET. The scheme pays for coaching and accommodation so that selected students can pursue the science stream in Class 11 and Class 12 at a top coaching institute outside of Tripura.

Students are picked through a joint selection test based on the TBSE 2025-26 Madhyamik syllabus. Subjects covered are Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. Students who do well in the test are called for counselling as per their rank, following the state reservation policy.

For the 2026 cycle, the family income limit was set below ₹8 lakh per year, and students needed to have passed Class IX in 2024-25 with 50% marks while appearing for the Class X board final exam in 2026 from a government or government aided school in Tripura.
