Super-100 Programme is a state-level scheme of Uttarakhand government that gives free coaching for engineering and medical entrance examinations to 100 meritorious Class 12 Science stream students every year. The scheme runs under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and is handled by the Secondary Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
Every academic session the government selects 100 bright students from government schools and gives them high-quality coaching for JEE and NEET level exams. The coaching is fully free, and the state pays for faculty, study material, food and accommodation of the selected students.
Super-100 Programme - Introduction
Super-100 Programme works under the Samagra Shiksha scheme to support talented Class 12 Science students of Uttarakhand. The main aim is to help a bright student from a hill block or a government school who cannot afford, and often cannot reach, private coaching for engineering and medical entrance exams. The scheme bridges this gap by giving these students free and dedicated preparation support.
In the 2025 session the programme was launched by the School Education Minister for Class 12 Science students of government schools. A total of 100 students were selected on the basis of an entrance test. The offline coaching ran in Dehradun for 45 days from June 1 to July 15, with all facilities given free, including food, accommodation, study material and teachers for coaching. After the offline phase the students returned to their schools and received online coaching for the whole year, with continuous evaluation so they can prepare better for competitive exams.
The programme also takes the help of the Avanti Fellows organisation in running the coaching. The scheme is designed for social and geographic spread, so a student who topped Class 10 in a remote development block gets picked even if their marks would not place them in the state top 100 overall.

Benefits
The scheme helps students by giving them top-tier coaching for tough engineering and medical entrance exams, completely free of cost. There is no cash payment, so the benefit comes in the form of coaching, study material, food and accommodation.
The government makes sure of high standards by selecting expert faculty from reputed coaching institutes who go through a formal interview process. Students get both offline and online coaching, and are evaluated regularly so their preparation stays on track for the whole academic year.
Eligibility
Only Class 12 Science stream students of Uttarakhand government schools can be selected under the programme. Selection is based on academic merit and is routed through the development block, so there is no public online application form.
- You should be a student currently enrolled in the Class 12 Science stream within Uttarakhand, preferably in a government school.
- The selection gives top priority to the student who secured the first position in Class 10 within each development block.
- High-scoring students from SC, ST and OBC categories also get dedicated seats so that every social group is represented.
- A total of 100 students are admitted to the programme every academic session.
Application Process
The selection process for Super-100 Programme is handled at the administrative level based on academic merit, and it runs offline through the development block. There is no self-application portal for students.
STEP 1 - Watch for the notification. The Secondary Education directorate and the district education offices announce the Super-100 selection for the session. There is no permanent open window, so the notification is the trigger to act.
STEP 2 - Approach your school principal and the development block education office. The block office holds the Class 10 block-wise merit position that the selection is built on, and the application is routed through the block.
STEP 3 - Submit your documents, including the Class 10 marksheet, proof of current Class 12 Science enrolment, and a caste certificate if you are being considered under an SC, ST or OBC seat.
STEP 4 - Let the block forward the list. The block-level list of block toppers and category toppers goes up for compilation into the statewide list of 100.
STEP 5 - Check the selection list issued by the department, and if selected, report to the coaching centre or batch on the date and place mentioned in the selection communication.
Documents
The following documents are needed during the selection and joining process.
