Subhadra Yojana is the main women welfare scheme of Government of Odisha. It gives direct cash support to eligible women, with ₹10,000 per year for five years, which adds up to ₹50,000 in total. The amount reaches the bank account directly through DBT, so there is no middleman anywhere in the process.
Government of Odisha has already released four installments of the scheme. The fifth installment of ₹5,000 has been announced for 28 August 2026, which is Raksha Bandhan. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida confirmed the date, and the money will go directly to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of eligible women.
Subhadra Scheme 2026 Updates
Subhadra Yojana was launched on 17 September 2024 and is managed by the Women and Child Development Department of Odisha. So far, more than ₹20,648 crore has been transferred to over one crore women through four installments. The fourth installment of ₹5,000 was released on 8 March 2026 on International Women's Day.
The government has also received over 3.17 lakh fresh applications during the current financial year. Women whose applications were verified by district authorities and recommended after 25 July 2026 will be included in the fifth installment, provided they meet the eligibility conditions. Full details are available on the Odisha Subhadra Yojana 2026 page.

STEP 3 - Submit the completed form at the nearest Mo Seba Kendra or Common Service Centre. The operator will scan the form and upload it to the official portal.
STEP 4 - Take the receipt given by the centre. It contains the submission date and a unique ID, which is useful for tracking the application later.

e-KYC and Payment Checks
Face authentication e-KYC can be completed through the Subhadra Mobile application by entering the Aadhaar number. Visit the nearest CSC or Aadhaar centre with the Aadhaar card and mobile number if help is needed, and then check the status on the portal within 3 to 5 days to confirm it shows e-KYC complete.
