Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS) for MSME Sector: Assistance for Saving in Consumption of Energy and Water is a state scheme of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. It helps existing and new enterprises in the MSME sector cut their utility costs by funding energy and water audits and the equipment recommended after those audits. The scheme is implemented by the Department of Industries, U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

The scheme was first launched on July 3, 2015. It was extended on May 20, 2022 and stays open till May 19, 2027. So enterprises that set up or expand within this period can still apply and get support for saving energy and water.

Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS) for MSME Sector - Key Details

This scheme rewards units that actually reduce their energy and water use. It pays back part of the audit cost and also gives a one-time subsidy on the equipment that the auditor suggests. The whole idea is to push small units toward greener, cheaper ways of working.

Support is given only after the project is fully done and running within the active period of the scheme. A valid audit report and proof that the recommended equipment is installed are required before any money is released.
