Civil Services Incentive Scheme for Persons with Disabilities 2026
Idea behind this scheme is simple. Preparing for civil services costs money. Coaching fee, books, travel for interview, stay in another city. For a candidate with 40 percent or more disability, these costs hit harder. So the state gives a cash reward at every stage the candidate clears, instead of waiting till the final result.
Both exams count here. Union Public Service Commission exam at Delhi level and Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission exam at Indore. Payment goes straight into the bank account given in the form. No separate online portal exists for this scheme in 2026, so the district office remains the only place to file the claim.

How to Apply for Civil Services Incentive Scheme
Whole process is offline. Candidate has to fill the form and hand it over at the district office of the department. Steps are given below.
STEP 1 - Get the application form of the scheme from the office of the Joint Director or Deputy Director, Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, in your district. Form copy is also kept at the district Divyangjan help desk.
STEP 2 - Fill in your name, address, disability details, exam name, roll number and the stage you have cleared. Write your bank account number and IFSC code carefully, because payment is made in that account only.
STEP 3 - Attach self attested copies of all required documents, mainly the disability certificate, MP domicile certificate and the commission letter or mark sheet that proves you cleared the stage.
STEP 4 - Submit the hard copy at the district office and take the receiving stamp on your copy. This receipt is your proof if the payment gets delayed.
STEP 5 - File the claim within 6 months from the date the result was declared. Late forms are usually rejected, so do not wait for the final result if you have already cleared prelims.
Who Can Apply
Rules for eligibility are fixed and the office checks each point before approving the amount. Read them once before filling the form.
- Candidate must be a native resident of Madhya Pradesh, and a domicile certificate is asked as proof.
- Disability of 40 percent or more is required, shown by a valid disability certificate as per the rules for persons with disabilities.
- Candidate must have cleared at least one stage of the UPSC or MPPSC civil services exam, prelims, mains or final selection.
- Claim has to reach the department within 6 months of the result date.
- Cash benefit is given once for each stage, so a candidate clearing all three stages can get all three payments.

Payment reaches the bank account given in the form. If the account is closed or the IFSC has changed after a bank merger, inform the district office in writing, else the payment will bounce back.

Keep these papers ready in one file before going to the office. Missing papers are the main reason forms come back.

If the form is submitted and the amount does not come, contact the district Social Justice office first. For complaints, CM Helpline number 181 works across Madhya Pradesh and takes scheme related complaints. Complaint can also be filed on the CM Helpline portal, and the department has to reply within a fixed time.
Divyang candidates of the state also get support under other schemes. Study support is given under Mukhya Mantri Divyangjan Shiksha Protsahan Yojana, research work is supported by Research Scholarship for Disabled Students, and marriage support comes under Nihshaktajan Vivaah Protsaahan Yojana.
