Students are also encouraged to take up research or teaching assistantships if needed to supplement their allowances. If required, they may also apply for an education loan from a nationalized bank at prevailing interest rates.

Eligibility

To be considered for this support, applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a resident of Telangana and belong to a minority community.
• Family income must be less than ₹5 lakhs per annum from all sources.
• Applicant should be under 35 years of age as of 1st July of the application year.
• Applicant must have a valid passport and secured admission to an accredited foreign university in countries like the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, New Zealand, Japan, France, or South Korea.
• Applicant must hold a valid TOEFL/IELTS and GRE/GMAT score.
• Only one child per family is eligible for this lifetime benefit.

Required Academic Background:

• For Postgraduate Studies: Applicant should have achieved at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade in the undergraduate degree (Engineering, Management, Pure Sciences, Agriculture, Medicine, Nursing, Social Sciences, or Humanities).
• For Ph.D. Courses: Applicant should have secured 60% marks or an equivalent grade in the postgraduate degree.
