Eligibility
Only girl students who meet the conditions given below can apply for this scholarship:
- Girl student from one of six notified minority communities, namely Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain or Parsi.
- Studying in Class 9 to Class 12.
- Secured at least 50% marks or equal grade in the previous class or qualifying exam.
- Annual family income of parents or guardian must not cross ₹2 lakh from all sources.
- Valid income certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the State or Union Territory is required.

How to Apply Online
Applications are submitted only online through National Scholarship Portal. Follow the steps given below.
STEP 1 - Open the official National Scholarship Portal and go to the Students section. Accept the terms, verify the mobile number with OTP, and complete e-KYC to get a reference number.
STEP 2 - Generate the One Time Registration (OTR) number. Use the NSP OTR mobile app and Aadhaar face authentication. This 14-digit OTR number stays valid for the whole academic career.
STEP 3 - Login to the portal using the OTR number. Fill academic and personal details in the application form and upload the required documents.
STEP 4 - Click Final Submit to forward the application. After that, the school or institute nodal officer verifies the form, then district and state authorities check it.
