Rajasthan Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Finance and Development Cooperative Corporation Limited, known as Rajasthan Anuja Nigam, runs the SC ST OBC Self Employment Loan Scheme for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, OBC and safai karamchari families across the state. Eligible families can get a bank loan at a concessional interest rate to start their own business, and SC category applicants can also get a grant of up to ₹50,000 under the PM AJAY scheme along with the loan.

Applications for this loan scheme are accepted through the Rajasthan SSO ID portal or the nearest e-mitra centre, all year round. Anuja Nigam now also runs separate loan categories such as Pop Urban, Pop Rural, auto-rickshaw, e-rickshaw and dairy loan under the same corporation, so applicants have more options to pick a loan based on their business idea.

Rajasthan SC ST OBC Self Employment Loan Scheme

This scheme is made for people from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC), safai karamcharis and persons with disabilities (PwD) who want to start a business but do not have enough money to invest on their own. SC families whose yearly income is below ₹2.5 lakh get priority for the PM AJAY grant that comes along with the bank loan.

How to Apply Online for SC ST OBC Self Employment Loan Scheme

Applying for this loan scheme is done through the Rajasthan SSO ID portal. Steps to fill Rajasthan SC ST OBC Loan Scheme online application are given below.

STEP 1 - Visit the official Rajasthan Single Sign On portal at https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/signin

STEP 2 - Rajasthan SSO ID login page will open as shown here.

STEP 3 - On the Sign In page, click the "Registration" tab, or go directly to https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/register to complete Rajasthan SSO ID registration.

STEP 4 - Applicants can complete SC ST OBC Self Employment Loan Scheme registration using Jan Aadhaar, Facebook or Google details.

STEP 5 - After registration, applicants get a username and password, which can be used to log in as explained in Step 2.

STEP 6 - After logging in, a list of schemes and services offered on the SSO ID portal appears, where applicants can select the loan scheme they want to apply for.

STEP 7 - On selecting the service, the SC ST OBC Self Employment Loan Scheme application form opens. Fill in all the required details accurately and submit the form to complete the online application.

New Loan Categories and Subsidy Under Anuja Nigam

Besides the general self employment loan, Anuja Nigam now runs a few more loan categories for scheduled caste families. Each one is meant for a different kind of business, so applicants can pick the option that matches their work.

• Pop Urban and Pop Rural Loan - for small trade and business set up in urban or rural areas.
• Auto-Rickshaw and E-Rickshaw Loan - for buying a vehicle to run as a passenger or goods carrier.
• Dairy Loan - for buying milch animals such as buffalo or cow for a dairy business.
• Mudra Yojana Loan - for small business needs, applied through banks under the Mudra Loan Scheme.

Once the bank sanctions a loan under any of these categories, SC category applicants can also get a grant of 50 percent of the unit cost, or a maximum of ₹50,000, whichever is lower, under the PM AJAY scheme. This grant is given in addition to the loan and helps reduce the repayment burden.

Selection of Beneficiaries for SC ST OBC Self Employment Loan Scheme

Rajasthan government has set up a loan appraisal team at the division level to approve loans. This team accepts or rejects SC / ST / OBC / EBC Loan Scheme applications after a meeting held within 3 months of receiving the application.

The loan amount is transferred by the corporation to the Jan Aadhaar linked bank account of the applicant after administrative approval, based on the recommendation of the loan appraisal team. Since applications moved online, this process has become faster than the earlier offline system.
