WB Manabik Prakalpa Scheme 2026 Application Form PDF - ₹1,500 Pension, Apply at Janakalyan Shibir

West Bengal government is taking fresh WB Manabik Prakalpa Scheme 2026 applications at Janakalyan Shibir camps from 2 to 4 October 2026. Persons with 40% or more disability can fill the Manabik application form PDF and get ₹1,500 a month as pension, up from ₹1,000 earlier.

Why the rush now? The new West Bengal government has cancelled the old waiting list for old age, widow and disability pensions. So anyone who applied earlier but never started getting money has to apply again. CM Suvendu Adhikari said fresh forms will be taken at Janakalyan Shibir and "Aapnar Sarkar Aapnar Pashe" camps and checked before approval. Some local reports call the October round the Seba Setu camp.

Pension went up from 1 August 2026. Finance Minister Swapan Dasgupta announced a ₹500 hike in the 2026-27 state budget, and around 82 lakh old age, widow and disability pensioners now get ₹1,500 instead of ₹1,000. People already getting Manabik pension get the higher amount in the same bank account, no new form needed.

Manabik pension still works through an offline form. Download it, fill it in, attach documents and hand it in at your nearest camp or office.

STEP 1 - Direct Link: West Bengal Manabik Scheme Application Form PDF

STEP 2 - The WB Manabik Prakalpa Scheme application form will open as shown below. Print it on A4 paper.

STEP 3 - Fill your personal details like Aadhaar number, voter ID number, gender, date of birth, father's name, religion, caste and monthly family income. Then add your address with village or town, GP or ward number, block or municipality, post office, district, PIN code and mobile number.

STEP 4 - Write your disability details and bank account details carefully, then paste a recent passport size photo in the box.

STEP 5 - Find your camp at jks.wb.gov.in. Click 'Locate a Shivir', pick your district, then block or municipality, then gram panchayat or ward. The page shows the date and venue of the camp in your area.

STEP 6 - Submit the form with documents at the camp. If you miss it, submit at the BDO, SDO or Controller of Vagrancy office given below. After checking, the pension is paid by DBT to your bank account every month.

Documents to attach with Manabik pension form

Self-attested copies of these go with the form. Keep the originals handy at the camp in case the staff want to see them.

• Disability certificate or UDID card from the right medical authority showing 40% or more disability
• Aadhaar card and voter ID card of the applicant
• Ration card of the family
• Self-declaration of residence and self-declaration of income
• Bank passbook first page, with the account in the applicant's own name

Where to get and submit Manabik form outside camp days

Forms are free at these offices. The form is addressed to the District Magistrate, except in Kolkata, where it goes to the Controller of Vagrancy.

1. Rural areas: office of the Block Development Officer or Executive Officer of the Panchayat Samity.
2. Municipal or notified areas outside Kolkata: office of the Sub-Divisional Officer.
3. Kolkata Municipal Corporation area: office of the Controller of Vagrancy, Purta Bhawan, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata 700091.

Who can apply for Manabik pension

Manabik pension started in 2018 for persons with 50% disability and family income under ₹1 lakh a year. In 2020 it was merged with the old West Bengal Disability Pension Scheme, 2010 under Jai Bangla. The disability limit came down to 40% and the income limit was removed.

Today you can apply if you have 40% or more disability, have lived in West Bengal for at least 10 years and don't get any other pension from the state or Centre. There's no age bar, so parents can apply for a disabled child too. Department details are on wcdsw.wb.gov.in.
