मुख्यमंत्री चिकित्सा सहायता कोष योजना: Himachal Pradesh govt. has launched Mukhya Mantri Chikitsa Sahayata Kosh Yojana 2022 for treatment of serious diseases. Poor people who are unable to afford the cost of serious ailments would be given assistance under MMCSKY. HP state govt. will spend more than Rs. 250 crore in 2021-22 under Aayushman Bharat, HIMCARE, Mukhyamantri Chikitsa Sahayata Kosh, Free Medicines, Sahara, Nikshay Poshan Yojana and other health related welfare schemes.
What is HP Mukhya Mantri Chikitsa Sahayata Kosh Yojana 2022
MMCSK has been constituted to provide assistance to needy poor people of the state who are having serious ailments. The benefit under Raahat Kosh is being provided since 20 October 2018. The Kosh is also providing assistance for covering OPD expenses/ miscellaneous expenses. In this article, we will tell you about the complete details of the HP Mukhya Mantri Chikitsa Sahayata Kosh Yojana.
Hospitals under Mukhyamantri Chikitsa Sahayata Kosh Yojana
The beneficiary can take the treatment in all the Government Hospitals in Himachal Pradesh, PGIMER Chandigarh, GMCH Sector-32, Chandigarh and AIIMS, New Delhi and hospitals empanelled under various Govt. health insurance schemes running in Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh MMCSKY Eligibility Criteria
Financial assistance is being given to only those persons having annual income up to Rs. 1.50 lakh.
Income Certificate Requirement under MMCSKY
The MMCSKY beneficiary will produce the income certificate from the competent authority at the time of submission of application for assistance from Kosh. However in case of following ailments, there is no requirement of income certificate:-
- Renal transplantation
- Major heart surgeries
- ASD, VSD, Valve Replacement, Bye Pass Surgeries
- Major Spine Surgeries
- Major Brain Surgeries
HP Mukhya Mantri Chikitsa Sahayata Kosh Yojana List of Documents
Following documents are required to be produced at the time of seeking assistance from Kosh:-
- Income Certificate.
- Treatment Cost Estimate from concerned hospital in case the treatment has not been taken.
- Original verified bills from the concerned doctor in case the treatment has already been taken by the beneficiary.
- Ayushman Bharat / HIMCARE card (if available).
- Photo ID proof.
- Aadhar Card.
- Photocopy of Pass book indicating the bank account detail of beneficiary.
The beneficiary will submit the application along with documents mentioned above, to the office of Hon’ble Chief Minister/Health Minister or the beneficiary can submit the application to the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district directly or through concerned MLA. The Deputy Commissioner will further forward the application completed in all respects to the office of Hon’ble Chief Minister/Health Minister.
