Haryana government was officially launched Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana on 25 September 2025, on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Under this new scheme, all eligible women of the state will receive ₹2100 per month directly into their bank account.
The scheme was a big election promise of BJP before the 2024 assembly elections and now it is being implemented in phases. In the first phase, women aged 23 years and above from families with annual income below ₹1 lakh will be covered. Later, more income categories may be added.
The benefit will be transferred every month through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) using PFMS system, so money will come directly to the beneficiary’s bank account. The government aims to help women become financially independent and strengthen their role in society.
More than 50 lakh women are expected to get benefit in the first rollout. No limit has been set on the number of eligible women from a single family, so more than one woman from the same family can also apply.
New Update (January 2026): Haryana Cabinet has approved fresh amendments in Lado Lakshmi Yojana. Under the revised payment rules, the ₹2100 monthly benefit will now be split. ₹1100 will be credited monthly into the beneficiary’s bank account, while ₹1000 will be deposited in a government-operated recurring deposit (RD) account. This RD amount will mature after 5 years. Government has also added new eligibility linked to children’s education performance and nutrition outcomes.

Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana is a new scheme announced in the Election Manifesto by the Haryana BJP government under which it will provide Rs. 2100/- per month to eligible women in the state.

Eligibility for Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana
To apply under this scheme, women must fulfill these rules:
- Must be a resident of Haryana for 15 years or more. If married from another state, the husband must be a resident for 15 years.
- The applicant must be 23 years or older. Maximum age limit for Lado Lakshmi Yojana will be 60 years.
- Must belong to a family with annual verified income less than ₹1 lakh, as per Family Information Database Repository (FIDR).
- Should not be receiving any other government pension or regular monthly stipend.
- Must have an active bank account in her name.
- More than one woman from the same family can apply.
Additional Eligibility Based on Children’s Education and Health
Haryana government has expanded the scheme by linking it with social development indicators. Mothers will also be considered eligible under the following new conditions:
- Mothers whose children study in government schools and score more than 80% marks in Class 10 or Class 12 board examinations.
- Mothers whose children achieve grade-level learning standards under NIPUN Bharat Mission in Classes 1 to 4.
- Mothers who successfully help their children recover from moderate or severe acute malnutrition, verified by the Women and Child Development Department.
For these additional categories, the annual family income limit has been relaxed to ₹1.8 lakh. However, residency and domicile conditions will remain compulsory.
Liveliness Verification for Monthly Payment
After the first disbursal, beneficiaries will have to complete face authentication every month using the Lado Lakshmi App. This liveness check will make sure that only the real beneficiary continues to receive the money without interruption.

Exclusion Criteria
Some women will not be eligible for this scheme even if they fall in the age group. Exclusions include:
- Women already receiving pension (widow, old-age, disability, etc.) or other government monthly allowance.
- Women from families whose annual income is above ₹1 lakh.
- Women who are not permanent residents of Haryana (or whose husband is not a 15-year resident in case of marriage from another state).
- Women who do not have a bank account in their own name.
Revised Payment Rules Under Lado Lakshmi Yojana
The payment structure of Lado Lakshmi Yojana has been changed to encourage long-term savings among women.
Out of the total ₹2100 monthly benefit, ₹1100 will be transferred every month through DBT into the beneficiary’s bank account. The remaining ₹1000 will be deposited into a government-operated recurring deposit account in the beneficiary’s name.
The RD amount will mature after five years. In case of the beneficiary’s death, the accumulated RD amount will be immediately paid to the nominee.

Apply Online through Lado Lakshmi App
The application will be accepted only through the Lado Lakshmi App, developed by HARTRON. It will be a complete digital solution for registration, verification, grievance redressal and status check.
STEP 1: Download the Lado Lakshmi App from the official portal and play store using this link.
STEP 2: Register with your mobile number.
STEP 3: Click on “योजना के लिए आवेदन करें“. But before that, you should check your eligibility by clicking on the “पात्रता जाँचें” option.
STEP 4: Enter family details like Aadhaar of family members, residence certificate, income proof, vehicle details, electricity connection, and bank account. Upload all required documents on the app.
STEP 5: Submit the form digitally. An SMS will be sent after verification to confirm eligibility.
STEP 6: Once approved, select whether to receive full ₹2100 or a lesser amount if you wish.
STEP 7: You can check status of your application by logging into the app and clicking on “आवेदन की स्थिति देखें“.
