Haryana Government has released an official notification of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana (DDLLY), 2025, aimed at enhancing financial independence and social security for women across the state.
Key Features of the Scheme
- Monthly Assistance: Eligible women will receive ₹2,100 per month via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), unless they opt for a lesser amount.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Women aged 23 years or older.
- Annual family income not exceeding ₹1 lakh.
- Resident of Haryana for at least 15 years.
- Exclusions: Women already receiving financial aid from other government schemes or employed in government roles are not eligible.
Tech-Enabled Implementation
The scheme will be managed through the Lado Lakshmi App, developed by HARTRON. This app facilitates registration, verification, grievance redressal, and monthly liveness checks via face authentication to ensure continued disbursement.
Oversight & Governance
A high-level governing body chaired by the Chief Minister will oversee the scheme, with monthly reviews conducted by an executive committee led by the Chief Secretary. District Social Welfare Officers (DSWOs) will handle grievances, which must be resolved within seven working days.
Safeguards & Accountability
Financial assistance will be discontinued in cases of misinformation, ineligibility, or death of the beneficiary. Wrongful claims will be recovered with 12% annual interest, and civil imprisonment may be enforced in extreme cases.
Set to begin on September 25, 2025, the DDLLY marks a significant milestone in Haryana’s commitment to inclusive development and women’s empowerment.
