Central govt. has launched e Sahaj Portal for grant of security clearances at https://esahaj.gov.in/. This website allows organizations / firms / companies / individuals to apply for security clearance from anywhere over Internet. This e Sahaj Portal will facilitate an applicant to submit online application and to view status of his application on a timely basis. Any applicant can make e Sahaj Security Clearance Online Portal Registration at esahaj.gov.in

e Sahaj Portal would result in faster, transparent and easy monitoring of getting clearances. The concerned authorities can access this application and documents online and provide timely clearances to the applicants. National Informatics Center (NIC) has developed e-Sahaj Security Clearance Online Portal. Its content is owned and managed by the respective ministries.

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has streamlined Security Clearance Procedures and has issued new set of guidelines. Committee of senior officers meets every week to give timely decisions on security clearance proposals.

Below is the complete procedure to make online registrations for security clearances at e-Sahaj Portal:-

STEP 1: Firstly visit the official website https://esahaj.gov.in/

STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Registration” link present in the header

STEP 3: This form is to make online registrations of organizations or firms or companies for security clearances. Registration needs to be done only once by the person authorized by the same. For this the person performing registration will be authenticated through OTP. Also documentary ID proof needs to be attached.

STEP 4: Moreover for an individual applying for security clearance, registration needs to done by himself on the portal.

STEP 5: After completion of step 1, e-mail verification link will be sent on the user’s e-mail ID. After successful registration, applicants will get registration ID (Login ID) on their e-mail ID and password will be sent on registered mobile number.

After successful registration, user needs to logged in to the portal to fill and submit the applicable security clearance form. User Help Manual contains the information on Types of security clearances, several facilities and features available on this portal. After submission of online application for security clearances, candidates are requested to take printout of the submitted application form.
