The scheme covers 1,356 health benefit packages across 34 specialties for most categories, and 184 specific packages for road accident victims. Coverage includes hospitalization, ICU and life saving drugs, surgical appliances and implants, all required tests and X-rays, plus daily meals for inpatients and travel support for the patient.

The scheme works on an assurance mode, which means the State Health Assurance Society pays the hospital directly and the treatment stays fully cashless for the patient.

  • Category A: Holders of Yellow, Antyodaya (AAY), Annapurna and Orange ration cards.
  • Category B: White ration card holders and families with a Maharashtra domicile certificate.
  • Category C: Students in government ashram schools, children in orphanages, women in state recognized ashrams, senior citizens in old age homes, journalists and registered construction workers.
  • Category D: Victims of road traffic accidents in Maharashtra, regardless of where they come from.
  • Category E: Families with specific ration cards living in border areas of Belgaon, Karwar, Kalburgi and Bidar districts.

STEP 3 - Fill in the required details, attach a photograph and submit your self attested supporting documents.

STEP 4 - Collect an acknowledgement receipt that shows your submission date and a reference number for tracking.
