Rajasthan Work From Home (Job Work) Yojana is accepting online applications from women on the official portal mahilawfh.rajasthan.gov.in. Under this scheme, Rajasthan government links women to work from home jobs posted by government, semi-government and private organizations. As per the portal counters, 174 organizations are on board, 74,475 women have registered and 8,085 women have already received work benefits under the scheme.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced this scheme in the state Budget 2022-23 on 23 February 2022 and proposed to bring 20,000 women under it with an expense of about ₹100 crore. The Women and Child Development Department formally launched the scheme on 26 August 2022. The scheme still continues and the same portal is accepting fresh applications even now. Rajasthan Work From Home Yojana 2026

Registration on the portal is only for women who are permanent residents of Rajasthan. Registration is done through Jan Aadhaar number and Aadhaar number, and the rest of the profile is filled with the details available in the Jan Aadhaar database. This keeps the process simple, online and free. Women who left jobs due to marriage, family duty or any other reason can work from home and add to the family income. Priority is given to widowed, divorced, abandoned, specially-abled and violence-affected women.

As per the 2026 update, the department opened applications for around 8,910 work from home posts, mainly in tailoring, from 2 August 2026. The portal also shows live openings for online ECCE or NTT teacher, yoga teacher, yarn making (carding and spinning), food products processing and education plus digital support posts, and most of them are accepting applications till 31 August 2026.

STEP 1 - Open the official portal at mahilawfh.rajasthan.gov.in on a mobile or computer browser. From the homepage, click on the registration or login section for female applicants.

STEP 2 - First time users click on Registration and select the Woman Applicant option. Enter Jan Aadhaar number and Aadhaar number, give consent for fetching details and click the Submit button. Registration is completed and the applicant gets an SMS confirmation.

STEP 3 - Login with the same credentials and complete the profile. Upload a recent photo, educational marksheets, work experience certificate and special category certificate like widow, divorcee, disabled or violence affected, if it applies.

STEP 4 - Use the search filter by district and organization to see active openings. Shortlist the work which matches the qualification, click the Apply Now button for that post and submit the application after filling qualification, experience and skill details.

STEP 5 - The organization checks the application and documents, then accepts or rejects it. The offer letter and joining status are updated on the dashboard and the applicant gets the message through SMS and email.

Eligibility for Work From Home Yojana

A woman can apply for the registered opening if she meets the following criteria given by the department:

• Women of Rajasthan only. The registration page clearly states that only women of Rajasthan can register and a Jan Aadhaar and Aadhaar are required.
• Minimum age is 18 years at the time of application. There is no upper age limit for most of the posts.
• Minimum qualification is 8th pass for tailoring posts, while education, teaching, data entry and office posts need 10th pass, or in many cases, degree, diploma, or work experience.
