With the launch of the portal awas.haryanapwd.gov.in, better tracking of allocation will be possible. All the formalities of house allotment, house change etc will be done online. The availability of vacant houses on the portal will be updated continuously. The seniority list of online applications will also be available on the portal.

2026 Allotment Cycle Timeline

The Haryana Government has invited online applications for the allotment of government houses in Chandigarh and Panchkula for the 2026 cycle. Key dates for the current cycle are:

• Out-of-Turn Allotment (medical grounds) - Application window was open until August 12, 2026, up to 11:59 PM
• General category applicants - Deadline for submitting or updating online applications is August 24, 2026, up to 11:59 PM
• Provisional seniority list - To be published on August 27, 2026
• Objections and claims - Can be submitted from August 31 to September 2, 2026, up to 11:59 PM
• Final seniority list - To be issued on September 14, 2026
• Allotment process - Will commence from September 25, 2026

Applicants have been advised to get the details available in the HRMS (Human Resource Management System) updated through their respective departments or offices before applying or filling in housing preferences for the current allotment cycle. The seniority list of applicants will be prepared on the basis of details obtained from the HRMS portal. Any modification in HRMS data or any objection or claim regarding seniority after submission or updating of the application on the housing portal will not be considered. Applicants will be solely responsible for ensuring that their details are updated correctly.
