Rajasthan Vidhwa Pension Yojana (राजस्थान मुख्यमंत्री एकलनारी सम्मान पेंशन योजना) is a state pension scheme run by Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SJED) in Rajasthan. It gives a monthly pension to widow, divorced and abandoned women who are residents of the state and do not have a regular source of income.

Under the revised pension structure notified by the department, eligible women between 18 and 75 years now get ₹1,000 every month, and women above 75 years get ₹1,500 every month. Earlier the scheme used a four-tier slab starting from ₹500, but that old structure is no longer in use. The pension is paid directly to the bank account linked with the applicant's Jan Aadhaar through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Applications for widow pension are accepted online through the Rajasthan SSO portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in and the social security pension portal at pension.rajasthan.gov.in. To avail pension in Rajasthan, the annual income of the family of the applicant must not exceed Rs. 48,000 per year

Pension for Widow Women - All the widow, divorced and abandoned women would be eligible under Rajasthan Vidhwa Pension Yojana 2026.

The vidhwa, parityakta and talakshuda women above 18 years of age would only be eligible for the Widow Pension Scheme.

Rajasthan Vidhwa Pension Yojana Amount

The monthly pension under this scheme depends on the age of the woman on the date of application. As per the revised structure notified by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, the amounts are given below.

• Women between 18 and 75 years of age - Rs. 1,000 per month
• Women above 75 years of age - Rs. 1,500 per month

The old four-tier slab of Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,500 is no longer in use. As per the 2026-27 budget announcement, the base social security pension is being raised to Rs. 1,450 per month across most categories, and the pension amount is legally guaranteed to rise by 15% every year under the state's Social Security Pension Act.
