UP Jhatpat Connection Yojana 2024 is started by the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) to provide electricity connections in easy manner. Under this instant connection scheme, UPPCL will ensure quick processing of applications from below poverty line (BPL) and above poverty line (APL) families through an online process. Any consumer who wants to avail a new power connection can now apply online at upenergy.in/uppcl/en or at e-suvidha or jan suvidha centres.

Under Jhatpat Connection Yojana, candidates can apply online for seeking new electricity connection in Uttar Pradesh for minimum 01 Kilowatt & maximum 500 Kilowatt load. Interested consumers can apply online for UP Jhatpat Connection Yojana to get new electricity connections at the official website.

Apply Online for New Electricity Connection in Uttar Pradesh

Below is the complete process to apply online for new electricity connections (Jhatpat bijli connection) in Uttar Pradesh state:-

STEP 1: Firstly visit the official UPPCL website at upenergy.in/uppcl/en

STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Apply for New Electricity Connection (Jhatpat Connection)” under ‘Connection Services’ section.

STEP 3: Direct Link for UP New Electricity Connection Apply Form Login – http://jtp.uppcl.org/online/frmLogin.aspx

STEP 4: The new Jhatpat electricity connection form login page in UP will appear as follows:-

STEP 5: Afterwards, the applicants can click at “For New Registration Click Here” button to open UP Jhatpat Connection Yojana Online Registration Form as below or directly click http://jtp.uppcl.org/online/frmUserRegistration.aspx

STEP 6: Here candidates can enter name, date of birth, e-mail ID, mobile number and click at “Register” button to complete the new electricity connection registration process.

All the applicants will then get their electricity connections installed at their preferred locations.

Login Instructions for UP Jhatpat Connection Yojana

1. Once the registration is completed, applicant will have to Login to apply for New Electricity Connection from Login page.
   पंजीकृत होने के उपरांत आवेदक को नवीन विद्युत संयोजन हेतु आवेदन करने के लिए लॉगिन पृष्ठ से लॉगिन करना होगा।
2. On Login Panel, applicant will have to fill the details like Login ID, Password and Captcha in the respective fields & click on Login button.
   लॉगिन पृष्ठ पर दी गई फील्ड्स अर्थात लॉगिन आईडी, पासवर्ड तथा कैप्चा में संबंधित जानकारी भरकर लॉगिन बटन पर क्लिक करें।
3. After first login, applicant will be redirected to Change Password page where he/she will have to change his/her auto-generated password for security reasons.
   प्रथम बार लॉगिन करने पर आवेदक को पासवर्ड बदलें पृष्ठ पर हस्तांतरित कर दिया जाएगा जहाँ उसे सुरक्षा कारणों से अपना स्वत: जनित पासवर्ड बदलना होगा।
4. Applicant will have to fill New Password and Re-type New Password in the respective fields and click on Create Password button. After which new password will be generated and applicant will have to re-login through their Login ID & New Password.
   स्वतः जनित पासवर्ड बदलने हेतु दी गई फील्ड्स अर्थात नया पासवर्ड तथा नया पासवर्ड पुनः भरें में संबंधित जानकारी भरकर पासवर्ड सृजित करें बटन पर क्लिक करें। तदुपरांत आवेदक का नया पासवर्ड सृजित हो जाएगा जिसका उपयोग कर आवेदक को लॉगिन पृष्ठ से पुनः लॉगिन करना होगा।

Important Points to Note during UP Jhatpat Connection Yojna Login

• Applicant can use their registered Mobile Number as well as Login ID to login.
  आवेदक पोर्टल पर लॉगिन करने हेतु अपनी लॉगिन आईडी तथा पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर में से किसी का भी उपयोग कर सकता है।
• Password that has to be created after first login must be of minimum 08 characters and must contain at least 01 Upper Case and 01 Lower Case Character, one numeric and one special characters: ( !#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}~ )”).

Instructions for UP Jhatpat Connection Yojana Registration on UPPCL Portal

1. To register on the portal of Single Window System for Application for New Electricity Connection applicant will have to fill the details like Name, Date of Birth, Email ID (Non-Mandatory), Mobile No. and Captcha in the respective fields of registration form.
   नवीन विद्युत संयोजन हेतु एकल खिड़की प्रणाली के पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण करने हेतु उपयोगकर्ता अपना नाम, जन्म तिथि, ई-मेल आईडी, मोबाइल नम्बर तथा कैप्चा संबंधित फील्ड्स में भरें।
2. After filling all the details correctly click on Register button. After which a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent on the mobile number entered by the applicant. Fill that OTP in the respective field of OTP Verification page and click on Verify OTP button.
   सभी फील्ड्स में संबंधित जानकारी भरने के उपरांत पंजीकृत करें बटन पर क्लिक करें। तदुपरांत आवेदक को उसके द्वारा भरे गए मोबाइल नम्बर पर एक ओटीपी प्राप्त होगा। प्राप्त ओटीपी को ओटीपी सत्यापन पृष्ठ की संबंधित फील्ड्स में भरें तथा ओटीपी सत्यापित करें बटन पर क्लिक करें।
3. After OTP verification, registration process will be completed and Login Credentials i.e., Login ID & Password will be forwarded to the registered Mobile No. and Email ID.
   ओटीपी सत्यापित होने के उपरांत पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया पूर्ण हो जाएगी तथा आवेदक को उसके पंजीकृत मोबाइल नम्बर तथा ई-मेल आईडी पर उसके लॉगिन विवरण (लॉगिन आईडी तथा पासवर्ड) प्राप्त हो जाएंगे।

• Mobile No. and Email ID once registered on the portal cannot be used for registration on the portal again.

UP Jhatpat Connection Yojana Launch by Yogi Adityanath Government

This instant electricity connection scheme is a new move of UPPCL to address the repeated complaints of consumers who face harassment in getting power connection. Now, any person either of APL / BPL category can apply online at upenergy.in/uppcl/en to get an electricity connection by following an easy and swift process. BPL consumers can fill the online application form and make payment of Rs. 10 to avail new power connection. APL consumers can also apply online and submit amount of Rs. 100 for getting electricity connections of 1 KW to 25 KW supply.

All the applications submitted by the consumers will be immediately forwarded to the engineers who are concerned under a swift processing system for quick approval. An engineer will visit the spot and file an assessment for power connection within a stipulated time period. Consumers will have to make online application for Jhatpat Connection Yojana at uppcl.org to get electricity connections at the earliest.

New Software for Power Connections to BPL / APL Households

Moreover, govt. will soon start a new software to provide power connections to BPL / APL families. After submission of online applications, junior engineers (JE) will have to submit the report in a given time frame. In case JE doesn’t submits the report, then assistant engineers (AE) will approve the application and give electricity connections to the applicants. In case the applicants are not able to apply online, then applicants can apply through e-suvidha kendras and jan suvidha kendras.

UPPCL aims to provide electricity connections to the consumers in hassle free manner and now applicants will not have to make unnecessary visits to the govt. offices. In this Jhatpat Connection Yojana, the main focus is on providing electricity connections to APL / BPL families in a dedicated time duration.
