Andhra Pradesh government has revived Yuva Nestham unemployment allowance scheme as part of its Super Six promise, and eligible jobless youth can now register at yuvanestham.ap.gov.in to get monthly support of Rs 3,000. This is a big jump from the Rs 2,000 allowance given earlier under the old Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestham scheme.
State first launched this unemployment dole back in 2018 with Rs 1,000 per month, but the scheme got closed down in 2019 after a change of government. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh brought it back with a higher allowance for lakhs of unemployed graduates, diploma and ITI holders across the state.
Yuva Nestham Online Registration at yuvanestham.ap.gov.in
Candidates who want to apply for this allowance can complete the registration process from home in a few simple steps. Process is mostly the same as before, only the benefit amount and some eligibility conditions have changed.
STEP 1 - Open the official website at yuvanestham.ap.gov.in on a mobile phone or computer browser.
STEP 2 - Look for "Apply Now / Login" link on the homepage and click on it to start a fresh application.
STEP 3 - Enter Aadhaar number and click on "Send OTP" button, then enter the OTP received on the mobile number linked with Aadhaar to verify identity.
STEP 4 - Fill the registration form with personal details, educational qualification, bank account and family income information carefully.
STEP 5 - Check the eligibility details shown on screen, upload required documents and submit the form. Save the application number for future reference and status check.
After registration, application goes through verification by local officials. Once approved, allowance amount gets credited directly into the Aadhaar linked bank account of the candidate every month, until he or she gets a job.
Eligibility Criteria for Yuva Nestham Scheme
Following conditions must be met by applicants to get monthly allowance under this scheme:-
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh, aged between 22 to 35 years, and currently unemployed.
- Minimum educational qualification required is 12th pass, ITI, diploma or graduation of two or more years duration.
- Family monthly income should not be more than Rs 10,000 and family must hold a white BPL ration card.
- Applicant must not own a four wheeler and should fall within the land holding limits set for the scheme.
- Person already receiving any other pension, scholarship or working in a government or private job is not eligible.
- Candidate who has taken subsidy of more than Rs 50,000 under any self employment scheme is not eligible.

Keep these documents ready in scanned or photo format before starting online application:-

Benefit Amount - Rs 3,000 Per Month Unemployment Allowance
When this scheme was first started in 2018, unemployed youth got Rs 1,000 per month, which was later doubled to Rs 2,000. Present government has raised it further to Rs 3,000 per month, one of the promises made under its Super Six package of welfare schemes announced before the 2024 elections.
Amount reaches beneficiaries directly in their bank account, so there is no need to visit any office every month to collect it. Applicants are encouraged to also join skill training programs run by APSSDC, which can improve their chances of getting a regular job.
Background of Yuva Nestham Unemployment Allowance Scheme
Chandrababu Naidu led government had first announced Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestham scheme in January 2018, aiming to give financial help to educated unemployed youth of the state along with skill training and job linkage support. Around 12 lakh candidates had registered under this earlier version of the scheme.
After change of government in 2019, new administration discontinued this allowance and brought its own set of welfare schemes instead. Youth who were depending on this monthly support lost this benefit during that period.
Following 2024 assembly elections, TDP led NDA government returned to power in Andhra Pradesh. IT Minister Nara Lokesh announced in June 2025 that financial assistance for unemployed youth would restart under the scheme, this time with an enhanced Rs 3,000 monthly allowance and revised eligibility conditions based on family income. i am graduated in 2015 and i am a diploma holder in 2012, but it was showing to me,
you are not qualified due to your not in post/graduation/diploma holder
i think government was not ready to give money for any one may be this is also CREDITED TO YOUR ACCOUNT MUKYAMANTRI GARU
