Benefits
Eligible MSMEs can receive financial support for taking part in various trade events as given below:

Important Note: Once a unit claims benefits in a specific category for a financial year, it cannot claim again in that same category for the following 2 financial years.
Eligibility
To qualify for the benefits, an MSME must meet these simple criteria:
- Business must hold a valid Udyam Registration Certificate (URC) under the MSME Development Act 2006.
- Department of Industries and Commerce selects units based on the product profile, theme of the fair, and its relevance to the business.
- Participation must be in fairs or exhibitions that are sponsored or approved by Government agencies or Export Promotion Councils under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Units that have never availed these benefits before receive priority during the selection process.
Exclusions
Any eligible MSME can apply, but priority is given to units that have not earlier accessed support under this scheme. Once a benefit is taken in a category, the same category cannot be claimed again for the next two financial years.
Application Process
Applications can be submitted both online and offline. For the online process, an applicant can visit a Common Service Centre (CSC) or use the e-Mitra portal to submit the claim. For the offline process, follow the steps given below:
STEP 1 - Download the application form (Annexure 5.1) from the official website of the Department of Industries and Commerce.
STEP 2 - Fill in all the required fields in the form and attach copies of all the required documents, self-attesting them where needed.
STEP 3 - Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the General Manager of the respective District Industries and Commerce Centre (DICC).
Note: The application must be submitted within 6 months of the date the exhibition concluded.
What happens next?
- General Manager of the DICC reviews the application for eligibility and compliance.
- District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) evaluates and sanctions the incentive.
- Once approved, an official approval letter is issued.
- Funds are transferred directly into the registered business bank account of the enterprise.
