Madhya Pradesh government is buying wheat, paddy, jowar, bajra, gram, lentil and mustard from farmers at Minimum Support Price under the Procurement of Food Grains from Farmers at Support Price scheme, and farmer registration on e-Uparjan portal runs season wise through the year. For Rabi marketing season 2026-27, wheat was purchased at ₹2,600 per quintal, which is the central MSP of ₹2,585 plus a state bonus of ₹15 per quintal.

Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department runs this scheme through the e-Uparjan system. Registration is free, slot booking is online, and payment reaches the farmer's Aadhaar linked bank account within about seven working days of sale. As per the state, 118.57 lakh farmers registered free in the last five years and 64.35 lakh of them sold grain worth ₹69,111 crore.

Procurement of Food Grains from Farmers at Support Price 2026 Details

Main idea of this scheme is simple. If market rates fall below the support price, a registered farmer can still sell the crop to the government at MSP at a nearby procurement centre. Buying, weighing, transport, storage and payment all happen through one software, so the record stays clear at every step.

Season dates change every year. For Rabi 2026-27, wheat registration on e-Uparjan was open from 07 February 2026 to 10 March 2026. Kharif registration for paddy, jowar and bajra usually opens around July and closes in the first half of October, so farmers planning to sell this Kharif season should check the Kharif page on the portal now and register before the last date announced for 2026-27. Moong and urad purchase also happens in the summer round, and this year the centre approved a big moong purchase quota for Madhya Pradesh.

How to Register Online on e-Uparjan

Registration has to be done before selling. Without it, no procurement centre will accept the crop at support price. Steps are given below.

STEP 1 - Open the MP e-Uparjan portal and pick the correct season link from the homepage, that is Rabi 2026-27 for wheat and gram, or the Kharif procurement page for paddy, jowar and bajra.

STEP 2 - Click on the farmer registration or किसान पंजीयन option. Enter Aadhaar number, Samagra ID and mobile number, then complete the OTP check on the mobile number linked with Aadhaar.

STEP 3 - Fill district, tehsil, village, Khasra number, sown area and the crop being sold. Girdawari data of the land is picked from the revenue record, so check it once and get it corrected at the tehsil office if the sown crop is showing wrong.

STEP 4 - Add bank account details that are seeded with Aadhaar. Payment fails if the account is not Aadhaar seeded, so confirm this with the bank branch before submitting.

STEP 5 - Submit the form and save the registration number and the printout. This number is needed for slot booking, payment status and any complaint later.

Slot Booking and Selling the Crop

After registration, a slot has to be booked so that the centre knows which day the farmer is coming. Booking is done on the same portal or the mobile app.

STEP 1 - Log in with the registration number and mobile OTP, then open the slot booking option.

STEP 2 - Choose a procurement centre, date and quantity from the available slots, then download the slot receipt.

STEP 3 - Reach the centre on the booked date with the slot receipt, Aadhaar card, land papers and bank passbook. Officials will weigh the grain and check it against Fair Average Quality standards.

STEP 4 - Collect the purchase receipt after weighing. Payment is sent to the Aadhaar linked bank account, normally within seven working days, and status can be checked on the portal with the registration number.

Who Can Apply

This scheme is for farmers of Madhya Pradesh who own land and have valid records for it. Sharecroppers and forest patta holders are covered in some crops as per the year's rules, so the season notice should be read once before registering.

  • Applicant should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh with land records in the state.
  • Land should be recorded in the applicant's name in the Khasra and girdawari data of that season.
  • Registration on e-Uparjan must be completed inside the announced dates of that season.
  • Grain should meet Fair Average Quality standards fixed by the government, mainly on moisture and foreign matter.
  • Bank account should be linked and seeded with Aadhaar for DBT payment.

Documents Required

Papers needed are few and most farmers already have them at home. Keep both original and a photocopy while going to the centre.

  • Aadhaar card with the mobile number active on it for OTP
  • Samagra family ID
  • Land rights record, khasra or B1 copy and loan book part 1 and 2
  • Bank passbook of the Aadhaar seeded account
  • Slot booking receipt at the time of sale

Help and Complaint Number

For a payment delay, wrong girdawari entry or a problem at the centre, farmers can call CM Helpline 181, which is the state grievance number of Madhya Pradesh. Complaint can also be given to the District Collector, the Sub Divisional Officer or the district food officer. District wise helpline numbers of the food department are listed on the portal.

Farmers who also want the yearly cash support from the state can read about Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana, and season wise registration dates are tracked in detail on the MP E-Uparjan farmer registration page.
