Who Can Apply?
Any bonafide student of a recognized university or institution in India or abroad can apply for this internship. The exact requirement depends on the level of study:

On successful completion of the internship, interns receive an experience certificate from the adviser of their division. This helps a lot in a career in policy and research. The internship improves skills in policy analysis, report writing and data collection. Do note that the certificate is given only if the full minimum period is completed.

Applications are accepted only through the official NITI Internship Portal. The form stays open from the 1st (00:00 hrs) to the 10th (23:59 hrs) of every month. Follow these steps to apply:

STEP 2 - Fill in your personal and academic details carefully, exactly as they appear on your certificates.
STEP 3 - Select only one area of interest from the list of domains.
STEP 4 - Review the whole form using the preview option before submission.
STEP 5 - Submit the form and save the registration number for tracking. You can check your status on the application status page.
