Aaws Bhatta Sahayata Yojana Online Application
Application is fully online. There is no offline form for this scheme. Students first do a one-time registration on the scholarship portal, get an Application ID, and then apply under the housing allowance scheme. Keep your Samagra ID, Aadhaar number and bank passbook near you before you sit down to fill the form.
STEP 1 - Open the State Scholarship Portal at hescholarship.mp.gov.in and click on the new student registration option on the homepage. Read the instructions given on the screen before you move ahead.
STEP 2 - Fill your personal details like name, category, date of birth, mobile number and email. After you submit, the portal gives you a Student Application ID. Note it down safely, since it is needed every time you log in.
STEP 3 - Log in at the student login page using your Application ID and password, then pick Aaws Bhatta Sahayata Yojana from the list of schemes shown for your college.
STEP 4 - Enter your Samagra ID, Aadhaar number, college details and bank account number. Upload your photo, signature and the required documents in the size and format asked on the page.
STEP 5 - Check every field marked with a star, then submit the form. Your college principal checks and forwards it. For students in private colleges, a government college principal marked for that area does the approval.

Rent support is not the same everywhere. Big cities cost more, so the monthly amount there is higher. Payment goes by DBT payment into the student's own bank account, and the account must be linked with Aadhaar for the money to land without trouble.

If your actual room rent is more than this amount, you have to pay the rest from your own pocket. The scheme only gives partial support, not the full rent.
Who Can Apply
Rules are simple, but every point has to match. Students who already stay in a government hostel are not covered, because they are getting free or cheap stay there already.
- Student must belong to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category and must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- Admission must be as a regular student in a government college or a recognised non-government college.
- Student must not be staying in any government hostel during the same year.
- Family income in a year must stay within ₹6,00,000, which is the same limit used in Post Matric Scholarship.
- College and the student's permanent home must not fall in the same urban body or gram panchayat area.
Study record also matters. If a student fails or drops the exam of a year, support for the next year is stopped.
Documents Required
Papers should be scanned clearly before you start filling the form, otherwise the upload step gets stuck. Keep both original and soft copies ready.

- Income certificate showing yearly family income within the limit.
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets along with the last exam mark sheet.

It shows whether the college has forwarded the form, whether the department has approved it, and whether payment has been released.
