आत्मनिर्भर हस्तशिल्पकार योजना: North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (NEDFi) has launched Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar scheme 2024 on 9 December 2021 (Thursday). Under this scheme, NEDFi will provide financial assistance to grassroot artisans of North East region. What is Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar Scheme 2024
Under Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar Scheme, artisans of north east region will get financial support in form of term loan. This term loan would be given for income generating activities for setting up / expansion / modernization / working capital requirement and other activities related to the artisan sector.
Launch of Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar Yojana
Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar Yojana has been launched on 9 December 2021. During the launch ceremony, a total of 17 artisans have been provided with credit assistance of Rs. 1 lakh per artisan. The credit facility under Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar Scheme is collateral free and carries a subsidized interest rate of 6% p.a., which is repayable in 24 months, said the press release.
For regular repayment, an incentive of 1% on the interest rate is provided, which will be refunded to the artisans on successful repayment of loans.
How to Apply for Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar Scheme
The interested artisans can apply for आत्मनिर्भर हस्तशिल्पकार योजना at NEDFi registered office Guwahati and any of its branch offices (details in www.nedfi.com).
Eligibility Criteria for Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar Scheme Application
Only those artisans with the following eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply for Atmanirbhar Hastshilpkar Scheme:-
- Registered/ unregistered artisan/ Individual
- Having valid qualification or practicing any art form
- No existing loan from any other bank/ financial institution
- Bank Account
- Aadhaar Card (optional)
At the official website www.nedfi.com, you can check activities and various loan products offered by NEDFi. The loans are being provided to the needy at very low interest rates by NEDFi. At the launch event, the participants were briefed on how to apply and process for loan documentation procedures including securities and recovery aspects of bank finance by BM, NEDFi Itanagar. They were also informed on the importance of bookkeeping, audited financial statements and healthy banking transactions etc.
