Note: Scheme has been closed. It was a one-time farm loan waiver scheme launched by the earlier state government in 2019, and it is no longer active for new applications. This page is kept online only for farmers who need to check their old beneficiary list or download records from that period.

How to Apply for MP Jai Kisan Rin Mafi Yojna
Madhya Pradesh govt. had invited green, white and pink (gulabi) application forms for MP Jai Kisan Fasal Rin Mafi Yojana (जय किसान फसल ऋण माफी योजना) when the scheme was open. The forms are no longer accepted, but the notifications, PDF records and details about the Kisan Karz Mafi Yojana remain available at the mpkrishi.mp.gov.in portal for reference. Under this Farm Loan Waiver Scheme, the state government had waived off farmer bank loans up to Rs 2 lakh.
MP Kisan Karj Rahat Scheme had covered around 55 lakh small and marginal farmers across the state. The name of Mukhyamantri Fasal Rin Mafi Yojana was changed to Jai Kisan Fasal Rin Mafi Yojana on 15 January 2019. Farmers who had taken bank loans from cooperative, nationalised or regional rural banks were covered under the waiver.

- Green Form (हरा) - For those farmers whose bank account is linked to Aadhaar and have taken farm loans. The green application form for Jai Kisan Rin Mukti Yojana will appear as shown below:-
- Pink (गुलाबी) Form - For any complaint or claim on Jai Kisan Fasal Rin Manfi Yojana, farmers could fill the pink (gulabi) form.
- White Form (सफेद) - For farmers whose bank account was NOT linked to Aadhaar and had taken farm loans.
Different category farmers had to fill these different colour forms to become eligible for the loan waiver under this Madhya Pradesh Jai Kisan Rin Mukti Yojana.

Cabinet Approval for MP Jai Kisan Rin Mukti Yojana for Farmers
To waive off crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh of farmers under MP Farm Loan Waiver Scheme, the cabinet had given its nod on 5 January 2019. MP Jai Kisan Rin Mukti Yojana had waived off bank loans taken till the revised cut off date of 12 December 2018 (previously 31 March 2018). The Congress Party had earlier announced that the government would start Kisan Karz Mafi Yojana within 10 days of coming to power, to reduce the debt and distress of farmers. Farmers who wanted to take benefits of MP Farm Loan Waiver Scheme could fill the green, pink or white application form.
Around 55 lakh farmers were covered under this Kisaan Karj Mafi Scheme in Madhya Pradesh. The state's economy depends heavily on the agriculture sector, and around 70% of people are associated with agriculture and allied sectors directly or indirectly. The state exchequer bore a burden of around Rs 50,000 crore for this waiver. The loan waiver forms had been submitted till 5 February, and farmers had started getting the benefits from 22 February 2019.

Farmers who were registered to pay GST and were paying income tax could not avail benefits under this Farm Loan Waiver Scheme in Madhya Pradesh. The scheme ran under the Kamal Nath led state government and closed after the one-time waiver process was completed.
