List of Documents Required for Manipur Vidhwa Pension Yojana

Applicants need to keep the following documents ready while applying for the pension:

  • F.I.R copy of the missing person's report if the husband has been missing for the past 7 years.
  • Death certificate of the husband in the case of a widow.
  • Destitute certificate in the case of destitute women.
  • Aadhaar card.
  • Residential proof: any one document for the domicile of Manipur issued before 15 years from the date of application, such as ration card, voter card, name in the voter's list, PAN card, driving license, passport, electricity bill or water bill, house and land documents, copy of LIC policy, registered rent deed of the house, or permanent resident certificate of the state.
  • Other documents: saving bank account details of the applicant with a photocopy of the passbook.

Note: In case a widow belonged to a state other than Manipur before marriage, the domicile of her husband who has been a resident of Manipur for more than 15 years needs to be proved through any of the documents listed above.
