On the occasion of Janmashtami, CIDCO launched a new housing scheme with 902 flats. This included 38 apartments set aside for the weaker sections of society. The addition of 175 apartments in Navi Mumbai's developed areas like Kalamboli, Kharghar, and Ghansoli was reserved for the general category.

CIDCO has since come up with a fresh housing lottery for 2026. The new CIDCO Lottery 2026 is accepting online applications for 4,779 EWS flats in Navi Mumbai, spread across Taloja, Kharghar and Kalamboli. Online registration started on August 15, 2026.
