AP Auto Driver Sevalo Scheme Update

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched the Auto Driver Sevalo scheme on 4 October 2025. The scheme replaced the earlier YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme and raised the yearly support from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 for each eligible driver. The payment is made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) so that the money reaches the driver directly without any middleman.

The scheme covers only passenger vehicles such as autos, motor cabs, and maxi cabs that are owned and driven by the same person. Goods carriers like cargo autos or mini trucks are not covered. Only one vehicle per family is eligible for the benefit.

For the 2025 cycle, online applications opened on 17 September 2025 and closed on 19 September 2025. The final beneficiary list was published on the GSWS portal on 24 September 2025, and the first payment of Rs. 15,000 was credited to the bank accounts of eligible drivers from 1 October 2025.

How to Apply Online for AP Auto Driver Sevalo Scheme

Applications for the Auto Driver Sevalo scheme are filled through the nearest Grama Sachivalayam or Ward Sachivalayam with the help of the Digital Assistant or Data Processing Secretary. There is no application fee, and the whole process is free of cost. Below is the step by step process to apply.

STEP 1 - Collect the required documents such as Aadhaar card, white ration card or BPL card, driving license, vehicle registration certificate, and proof that there are no pending challans.

STEP 2 - Visit the nearest village or ward secretariat and ask the Digital Assistant or Data Processing Secretary to fill the online application form for you.

STEP 3 - The Digital Assistant will log in to the GSWS online portal at bm-sgsw.ap.gov.in/BM/ using his credentials and select the "Financial Assistance to Auto and Maxi Cab Owners (Auto Drivers Sevalo)" option from the BM Scheme module.

STEP 4 - Enter the Aadhaar number and click on Pre-Fill. Many household details such as name, address, date of birth, and pin code will be filled automatically. Enter the vehicle and bank details and upload the scanned copies of the required documents.

STEP 5 - Enter the vehicle RC number. If the RC number is valid, the vehicle details will appear. Then select the family member who holds a driving license, enter the district RTO DL number, and upload the driving license copy.

STEP 6 - Submit the application. The local welfare assistant will check the details and forward them for higher level approval. Mandal Parishad Development Officers in rural areas or Municipal Commissioners in cities will review and send it to the District Collector for final approval.

STEP 7 - If the application is approved, the money will be credited to the bank account through the concerned community corporation.
