Shubhshakti Yojana Introduction

Shubhshakti Yojana, also written as Shubh Shakti Yojana, was launched in 2016 for families of workers registered with the BOCW Welfare Board. At least one parent of the girl must be a registered worker with the board for one year or more before the daughter can apply.

The registered worker must have worked as a construction worker for at least 90 days in the year before the application date. Application is made after one year of registration, and the worker's identity card must remain valid at the time of applying.

The full amount is sent directly to the girl's bank account through DBT. So the money reaches the right person, and there is no cash payment in between.

Keep the following documents ready before starting the application. Incomplete files are one of the main reasons for rejection.

1. Copy of the registered BOCW labour identity card.
2. First page of the bank passbook showing the account number and IFSC code.
3. Aadhaar card or Bhamashah card.
4. Official birth certificate or age proof showing that the daughter is 18 years old.
5. Class 8 mark sheet issued by a government or recognized school.
6. Current income certificate from the tehsildar or revenue officer.
7. Introduction letter about the beneficiary girl from the registered worker.
8. Recent passport-size photograph.
9. BPL card, if the family has one.

Application Process

Application for Shubhshakti Yojana can be made online through the LDMS portal or offline at the district Labour Department office. Follow these steps for the online process.

STEP 1 - Visit the official Rajasthan Labour Department website and open the Schemes page. Use the Labour Department Management System (LDMS) online application link to begin.

STEP 2 - Register on the Rajasthan SSO portal if you do not have an ID yet. Choose the Citizen option and complete the registration using your Jan Aadhaar number or Google account by verifying the OTP.

STEP 3 - Log in to your citizen dashboard after registration.

STEP 4 - Locate and open the LDMS option on the dashboard.

STEP 5 - Go to Welfare Schemes, select the BOCW Welfare Board, and choose Apply for Scheme.

STEP 6 - Select Shubhshakti Yojana from the scheme list, fill in all the details correctly, upload the required documents, and submit the application.

STEP 7 - Note down the application number for later tracking. After submission, a Tahsildar or gazetted officer verifies the BOCW registration, and the approved amount is transferred to the girl's bank account through DBT.

If online application is difficult, download the Shubhshakti Yojana form from the Labour Department site and submit it with the documents at the district Labour Department office or to the official authorised by the Divisional Secretary.
