STEP 4 - Pay the token amount online. The token is generated once the payment goes through, so save the booking slip.
STEP 5 - Wait for the e-lottery. Selected farmers get an SMS on their registered mobile with the last date to buy the machine and upload the bill.
STEP 6 - Buy the machine from a maker or dealer listed on the department's yantra tracking portal and upload the purchase bill, machine photo and serial number before the deadline. The subsidy is sent by DBT after checking.

Token money and refund
Token money is paid online at the time of booking. In the July-August 2026 round, it was ₹2,500 for machines with subsidy up to ₹1 lakh and ₹5,000 for machines with subsidy above ₹1 lakh. The portal shows the exact amount for each machine when you book.
Farmers who are not picked in the e-lottery get the token money back. As per the department's March 2026 notice, this refund is made within six months at the most.
Selection by e-lottery and purchase deadline
Targets are set block wise. If a block gets more bookings than its target, an e-lottery is held before a district committee headed by the District Magistrate, and a waiting list is also made. The Deputy Director Agriculture of the district tells applicants the date, time and venue. In the last round, Pilibhit held its e-lottery on 21 August 2026 and selected 238 farmers for machines like super seeders, rotavators, laser land levelers and balers.
