LATEST UPDATE: MGNREGA was suspended in West Bengal on March 9, 2022 under Section 27 of the MGNREGA Act, 2005, citing non-compliance with central government directives. The Supreme Court upheld this order on October 28, 2025 after the Centre challenged it. Checking the West Bengal MGNREGA job card list online is simple. You just need to visit the official NREGA website and select your district, block, and gram panchayat. Here is the complete step by step process to check your name in the West Bengal NREGA job card list and download the job card PDF.
STEP 1 - Go to the official West Bengal MGNREGA page directly at nregastrep.nic.in/netnrega/loginframegp.aspx?page=C&state_code=32. This will directly open the West Bengal state page on the NREGA portal.
STEP 2 - On this page, the state name "WEST BENGAL" will already appear at the top. Now select the Financial Year 2026-27 (or any previous year you want to check) from the drop down. Then select your District name from the next drop-down.
STEP 3 - After selecting the district, select your Block name and then your Gram Panchayat name from the respective drop-downs. Once all four fields are filled (financial year, district, block, and gram panchayat), click the "Proceed" button.
STEP 4 - The complete list of NREGA job card holders in your selected gram panchayat will appear on screen. The list shows the job card number and the name of each registered household. MGNREGA Resumption in West Bengal - What Changed

West Bengal MGNREGA Workers - Current Status
As per official data on nrega.nic.in, West Bengal has 2,56,96,073 total registered NREGA workers - one of the largest in the country. However, due to the long suspension period, only 9,334 workers were showing as active at the time of resumption, which is just 0.04% of total registered workers.
