The state government has started the online registration again for Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme to make sure no eligible student is left behind. Students from all categories including SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and General can apply for this scholarship on the official portal scholarship.up.gov.in
UP Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme 2025 (दशमोत्तर छात्रवृत्ति योजना)
The main aim of this scheme is to help students from financially weaker families pursue education after Class 10. Through this scholarship, the government provides funds to cover tuition fees, books, and other educational expenses so that no student has to stop studying due to financial problems.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply under the UP Post-Matric Scholarship 2024-25, students must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- SC/ST category: Parent’s annual income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- OBC/General/Minority category: Parent’s annual income should not exceed ₹2 lakh.
- Student must be enrolled in a recognized school, college, or university in UP.
- Aadhaar card must be linked with PFMS for scholarship payment and bank account to be DBT enabled.

Online Application Process for UP Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme
STEP 1: Visit the official UP scholarship portal at scholarship.up.gov.in
STEP 2: Go to the Student section and click on “New Registration” or “Renewal” depending on your category.

STEP 3: Select your category and click on Post Matric link.

STEP 4: Enter your OTR (One Time Registration) number and click submit.

STEP 5: Follow the next steps and upload the required documents as per instructions. If you do not know OTR number, then you click on “OTR Registration? Click Here” link below the Submit Button. Below is the screenshot image of the OTR page.

STEP 6: Login & get the form verified by your institution before the last date.
