Latest Review Meeting on Subhadra Yojana Beneficiaries List
On 10 September 2025, a review meeting of Mukhyamantri Mahila Subhadra Yojana was held at Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, under Deputy CM Pravati Parida. The focus was on fixing issues in the third installment, which had already reached 1.24 crore women on Raksha Bandhan 2025.
The government decided to add around 2.85 lakh women who were earlier left out because of ration card problems, incomplete KYC, or being marked as ineligible due to vehicle ownership, income tax, or paddy sale records. A door-to-door survey will be completed in 15 days, and district officials will submit reports.
It was also found that of 15,984 women marked as deceased, 1,805 were alive. Cross-checking with health department data will correct such errors. A new online grievance portal will be launched soon so that excluded women can reapply. Reports from transport, food, and health departments were also reviewed to remove duplication issues.
The government stressed that all eligible women (21-60 years, from families without four-wheelers or high income) will get benefits without delay, though no date has been given yet for the next installment.
New Grievance Redressal Module Launched for Subhadra Yojana
On 15 September 2025, the Odisha government launched a Grievance Redressal Module on the Subhadra Yojana portal to ensure no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the financial assistance under the scheme. This module allows women to file complaints regarding application rejection or non-receipt of payments.
All grievances will be reviewed carefully through a multi-level scrutiny process involving block and district-level committees. Beneficiaries can track the status of their complaints online for timely resolution.
Deputy Chief Minister Parvathi Parida emphasized the government’s commitment to transparent and quick resolution of issues. This step follows the earlier decision to conduct detailed field-level verification for the 2.85 lakh women who were previously excluded due to eligibility concerns.
So far, over 1.09 crore women have registered for Subhadra Yojana, and more than 1 crore beneficiaries have received financial aid. The scheme provides Rs 50,000 help over five years, paid as annual installments of Rs 10,000 (two payments of Rs 5,000 each) from 2024-25 to 2028-29.
The third installment was disbursed on 9 August 2025 during Raksha Bandhan, and the government ensures that all eligible women, including those earlier left out, will receive their rightful benefits.
