Sindhu Dharshan Yatra Scheme 2016 is a travel support program by the Tourism Department of the Government of Haryana for its residents. It offers financial help of up to ₹10,000 to pilgrims who complete the Sindhu Darshan Yatra in Ladakh.

Haryana government launched this scheme on 12th July 2016 to make the sacred journey easier for its people. The scheme applies to journeys finished after 1st April 2016, and eligible pilgrims can still apply through the Antyodaya-SARAL portal as of August 2026.

Sindhu Dharshan Yatra Scheme 2016 - Overview

The Tourism Department of the Government of Haryana runs this scheme to support its residents who take part in the Sindhu Darshan Yatra. Applicants who finish their journey after 1st April 2016 qualify for the support. The help covers part of the travel cost so that more people from the state can take part in this pilgrimage.

Each pilgrim can get up to ₹10,000 or 50% of the actual travel cost, whichever amount is lower. Only a maximum of 50 pilgrims are supported in each cycle. This keeps the scheme focused and makes sure the support reaches genuine pilgrims.
