Post Graduate Scholarship Scheme for GATE/GPAT Qualified Students-AICTE - Introduction
This scholarship is meant for students who want to complete their master's degree without money pressure. The stipend of ₹12,400 per month helps cover study costs, hostel rent and other expenses. Payment is made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), so the amount goes straight into the Aadhaar-linked savings account of the student.
The scholarship runs for a maximum of 24 months or for the actual length of the course, whichever is shorter. In return, you are expected to spend 8 to 10 hours per week on teaching or research work, such as helping in laboratories or the library, as assigned by your institute. Taking up this work is a condition to keep receiving the monthly amount.
