Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini flagged off the first special train from Ambala to Ayodhya on March 28, 2026, sending around 700 elderly pilgrims from seven districts on a spiritual journey. Another special train will leave Kurukshetra for Sri Hazur Sahib, Nanded in Maharashtra on May 5, 2026.

How to Apply for Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana

The registration process for this scheme is fully online through the Antyodaya SARAL Haryana portal. You can also apply offline at your nearest Common Service Centre or SARAL Kendra with the help of a representative. Here are the steps to apply online.

STEP 1 - Go to the official Antyodaya SARAL Haryana Portal. If you are not already registered, click on 'Register Here' and complete your registration using your mobile number, email ID, and state details. You will receive an OTP for verification.

STEP 2 - After registration, log in with your email ID and password. On the dashboard, click on 'Apply for Services' and then select 'View all available services'.

STEP 3 - In the search box, type 'Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana' and click on the scheme name when it appears in the list.

STEP 4 - Enter your Family ID (Parivar Pehchan Patra / PPP number) and click on 'Send OTP'. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with your Family ID. Enter the OTP and click 'Verify OTP'.

STEP 5 - After OTP verification, select the family member for whom you want to apply. Their details will appear automatically based on the Family ID data. Select the pilgrimage destination you wish to visit, then choose the preferred month and railway station from the dropdown menus.

STEP 6 - Fill in any remaining details in the application form, upload the required documents, and submit the form. Save the application number for future reference and status tracking.
